Abstract
L'invention a notamment pour objet un navire comprenant au moins un moteur thermique (1) configuré pour fonctionner à un régime compris entre 0,75 et 1,25 fois un régime donné et pour être soumis à une charge variable, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un banc de charge (2) connecté au moteur thermique (1) et configuré pour maintenir la charge du moteur thermique (1) au moins à une charge seuil prédéterminée pour le régime donné, la différence entre une charge effective du moteur thermique (1) et la charge seuil prédéterminée correspond à une puissance excédentaire produite en sortie du moteur thermique (1), et en ce que ledit banc de charge (2) comprend au moins un électrolyseur (3) couplé au moteur thermique (1), au moins une pile à combustible (5) et au moins un dispositif de stockage de dihydrogène (H2), ledit banc de charge (2) étant configuré de manière à ce que l'électrolyseur (3) reçoive la puissance excédentaire produite en sortie du moteur thermique (1) afin de produire du dihydrogène (H2) et de fournir le dihydrogène à la pile à combustible (5) ou au dispositif de stockage de dihydrogène.
