Abstract

Le tournevis à verrouillage automatique (1) comprend un tube de guidage (3) à l'intérieur duquel est guidée et entrainée en rotation une tige de serrage (4) dont l'une de ses extrémités est pourvue d'une empreinte (5) permettant l'entrainement en rotation et le serrage d'une vis d'ancrage (6) assurant l'immobilisation d'un l'implant orthopédique (2) contre un corps osseux d'un individu, ledit tournevis comportant d'une part entre le tube de guidage (3) et la tige de serrage (4) un système de blocage (9, 10 et 11) coopérant avec ledit tube de guidage (3) afin d'empêcher le desserrage de ce dernier de l'implant orthopédique (2) lors du serrage de la vis d'ancrage (6) et d'autre part sur la périphérie externe du tube de guidage (3) une molette de préhension (8) assurant le verrouillage et/ou le déverrouillage du système de blocage et l'entrainement en rotation dudit tube de guidage (3).
