Abstract

Selon un aspect l'invention porte sur un banc de mesure (1) du champ magnétique de portions (101) d'une carotte sédimentaire (100) s'étendant selon une direction principale, caractérisé en ce que le banc de mesure (1) comprend au moins: - un dispositif de déplacement en translation de la carotte sédimentaire (100) au sein du banc de mesure (1), - une chambre de mesure (30) comprenant une sonde à vanne de flux (40) agencée pour être disposée en regard d'une portion (101) de carotte sédimentaire (100) de manière mesurer le champ magnétique de ladite portion (101) de carotte sédimentaire (100) située en regard de la sonde à vanne de flux (40); et ce que le dispositif de déplacement est configuré de manière à faire translater la carotte sédimentaire (100) par rapport à la sonde à vanne de flux (40) de manière à ce que la sonde à vanne de flux (40) mesure successivement le champ magnétique d'une succession de portions (101) de la carotte sédimentaire (100). L'invention porte également sur un procédé et un appareil d'estimation des aimantations rémanentes de portions d'un échantillon sédimentaire
