Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de protection de la tranche et de la couture des semelles tressées en cordes, type espadrille, contre l'eau, l'humidité extérieure et les salissures, tout en laissant visible la corde. Le dispositif selon l'invention consiste à recouvrir la tranche de la semelle d'une couche plus ou moins fine d'une matière hydrofuge transparente, par exemple en silicone, qui viendra ainsi protéger la corde, tout en la laissant apparente. Ce revêtement pourra recouvrir la tranche, le caoutchouc de la semelle, la couture ainsi qu'une partie de la toile de l'espadrille, et cela sur tout le pourtour de la semelle. Il s'entend que ce dispositif peut s'appliquer sur toutes les formes de semelles en corde destinées principalement aux espadrilles, plates ou à talons.
