Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'imagerie radar à synthèse d'ouverture, ledit radar éclairant une zone à imager avec une période d'éclairement divisée en sous-périodes se chevauchant temporellement. Ledit procédé comprenant une étape de génération d'une sous-image radar de résolution R0 pour chaque sous-période et éventuellement plusieurs étapes itératives de recombinaison de sous-images radar afin d'améliorer leur résolution. Lorsque la résolution desdites sous-images radar atteint une première valeur prédéterminée, le procédé comprend une étape de détection de zones d'intérêt et d'extraction d'une imagette autour de chaque zone d'intérêt détectée. Pour chacune des zones d'intérêt, ledit procédé comprend plusieurs étapes itératives de recombinaison de sous-images radar afin d'améliorer leur résolution jusqu'à une deuxième valeur prédéterminée, suivie d'une éventuelle étape de traitement haute résolution.
