La présente invention a pour objet un procédé d'obtention du borazane, comprenant la synthèse dudit borazane par réaction (réaction de métathèse) d'au moins un sel d'ammonium avec au moins un borohydrure, ledit au moins un borohydrure étant choisi parmi les borohydrures de métal alcalin et les borohydrures de métal alcalinoterreux .
