Abstract

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to the field of carton packaging of the box type set volume from a blank for food products, including bakery, pastry, confectionery or catering products, and more specifically means allowing to facilitate the handling of products contained in such packaging.

STATE OF THE ART Cardboard boxes made by volume from a blank are commonly used for the packaging, storage and transport of food products.

These boxes are indeed advantageous especially because of their low cost, their ease of storage before setting volume, and their ease of setting volume. These boxes are used in particular for the packaging of immediate consumer products, such as sandwiches, quiches, pies or individual cake. Such products are commonly consumed directly in the packaging, especially to prevent the consumer from staining or getting dirty, and consume all or part. Now, the cardboard boxes can then prove to be impractical, in that unlike sachets, they can not be folded or deformed in order to simply manipulate the product contained in the box, and in particular to manipulate it at the same time. as it is consumed.

The present invention therefore aims to at least partially meet these problems.

To this end, the present invention provides a food product box formed from a blank comprising a receptacle and a lid movable relative to the receptacle between an open position and a closed position. receptacle being formed by a plurality of walls defining an internal volume of the box, and having an opening selectively closed by the lid, the box being characterized in that at least one of said walls of the receptacle comprises tab portions adapted to be folded in the internal volume of the box, so as to form supports for a food product disposed in the internal volume.

Said tab portions are for example formed by pre-cutting in said at least one wall of the receptacle. Each of the tab portions may then have a hinge border with the wall of the receptacle in which they are provided. According to one example, at least one of said walls of the receptacle comprises a plurality of tongue portions regularly distributed along said wall, towards the opening of the box.

In one example, at least one of the walls of the receptacle has a transparent portion. The invention also relates to a blank for the formation of a box, said blank comprising: - four side panels, - two end panels, the side panels and one of said end panels being adapted to form a receptacle of a box defining an internal volume, the other of said end panels being adapted to form a movable lid with respect to the receptacle between an open position and a closed position, the blank being characterized in that at least one said side panels comprise tongue portions adapted to be folded into an internal volume defined by the box receptacle. The invention further relates to a blank for the formation of a box, said blank comprising: - a bottom panel having four sides, 1 5 - a rear side panel connected to a rear side of the bottom panel, - a side panel left connected to a left side of the bottom panel, - a front side panel connected to a front side of the bottom panel, - a right side panel connected to a right side of the bottom panel, - an upper panel with four sides, 20 the bottom panel, the rear side panel, the front side panel, the left side panel and the right side panel being adapted to form a receptacle of a box, the top panel being adapted to form a lid of a box, mounted movable relative to the receptacle between an open position and a closed position, the blank being characterized in that at least one of the bottom panel, the left side panel and the right side panel comprise end of the tab portions adapted to be folded into an internal volume defined by the receptacle of the box.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION FIGS. 1 and 2 show two views of an exemplary box 1 according to one aspect of the invention. The box 1 as shown has a generally elongated shape, and is particularly suitable for packaging products such as sandwiches, or any other elongated product. The box 1 is formed from a blank, and comprises a receptacle 2 associated with a lid 3. The receptacle 2 defines an internal volume of the box 1, as well as an opening, the latter being able to be selectively closed by the cover 3 to allow or not access to the internal volume.

The receptacle 2 is formed of four elongated walls 201, 202, 203 and 204, thereby defining a length of the can 1 and two ends, respectively designated and arbitrarily distal end 101 and proximal end 102.

The distal end 101 is here closed by a bottom wall 205 of the box 1. The proximal end 102 is selectively closed by a cover wall 206, forming for example the lid 3 of the box 1.

One of the elongated walls forming the receptacle 2, here the elongated wall 201, has tabs 4 distributed along the length of said elongate wall 201. These tabs 4 are for example formed by the embodiment of pre-cuts 42 in the elongate wall 201 on a part of their contour, while a non-pre-cut part of their contour makes it possible to form a hinge 41 thus connecting the tongues 4 to the elongate wall 201. A user can thus exert pressure on the tongues 4, for example pressing with his finger, to break the pre-cuts of the tongue 4 considered, and thus fold inwardly of the container 2, in the internal volume. The tongues 4 are advantageously configured so that their respective hinges are closer to the opening of the box 1 than their respective moving parts delimited by the pre-cuts. Such a configuration makes it possible, during the folding of the tabs 4 towards the inside of the box 1, to exert a thrust force on the product it contains, tending to move it towards the opening of the box 1.

Once formed, these tabs 4 and allow the user to exert a thrust on a product contained in the box 1, and thus for example to gradually bring it to the opening of the box.

For example, in the case where the box 1 contains a sandwich, the user can use the tabs 4 so as to progressively advance the sandwich towards the opening of the box 1, as and when he eats the sandwich. The user will then typically progressively use the various tabs 4, from the distal end 101 to the proximal end 102 open to advance the product in the box 1. In order to illustrate this use, it is represented by dashed lines in FIGS. 2 and 3 an object having an elongated shape disposed in the box 1.

Thus, it can be seen in FIG. 3 that the user can advance the product by pushing it with the folded tongue 4. Depending on the shape of the tongues 4, the latter can form supports or stops for the product contained in the box 1, or simply allow the user to insert at least one finger in the box 1 so as to manipulate the product it contains. The box 1 may have tabs 4 on one or more of its elongated walls 201, 202, 203 and 204. The tabs 4 may be evenly or irregularly distributed according to the length of the box 1. Advantageously, at least one of the elongated walls 201, 202, 203 and 204 of the box 1 has a transparent portion 207, which allows the user to view the position of the product in the box 1, and thus facilitates handling. In the embodiment shown, the box 1 has a transparent portion 207, formed on the elongated walls 202 and 203.

FIG. 3 shows an exemplary blank for producing box 1 as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 previously described.

On the blank as shown are the four elongated walls 201, 202, 203 and 204, as well as the bottom wall 205 and the cover wall 206. The various walls are typically provided with flaps to allow their assembly during the shaping of the box 1 from this blank. In the illustrated example, the four elongated walls 201, 202, 203 and 204 are provided with a pre-cut line 5 extending continuously over these four elongated walls and on their possible flaps, substantially transversely through relative to the longitudinal direction defined by the length of the elongate walls 201, 202, 203 and 204. This precut line 5 allows for example a user to selectively remove a portion of the box 1, so as to open one end . In the example presented, the user can thus break the precut line 5 so as to remove from the box 1 a portion of each of the four elongate walls 201, 202, 203 and 204 near the proximal end 102 of the box 1 once formed, as well as the lid wall 206 of the box 1, which may be preferable in terms of use when the user wishes for example to eat the product contained in the box 1 while maintaining the latter in the box 1.

Having tabs 4 thus scored can not form additional openings in the box 1 prior to the use of the tabs 4, which is advantageous for the storage of products in the box 1.

The tabs 4 are here shown as regularly spaced along the length of the elongate wall 201, their hinge portions 41 being oriented towards the precut line 5.

The tabs 4 may for example have a substantially square or rectangular shape, or a linear base formed by the hinge 41 and a pre-cut portion 42 curved, for example forming a portion of a circle, ellipse or parabola.

Figures 4 and 5 show another example of box 1 according to one aspect of the invention. The box 1 as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 has a generally parallelepipedal shape with a square base, and is particularly suitable for packaging products such as pies, individual cakes, quiches or any other product having a generally round shape. square or rectangular.

As for the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 3, the box 1 as illustrated in Figures 4 and 5 is formed from a blank (which will be described later with reference to the FIG. 6), and comprises a receptacle 2 associated with a cover 3.

The receptacle 2 defines an internal volume of the box 1, and an opening, the latter can be selectively closed by the lid 3 to allow or not access to the internal volume. Such a configuration makes it possible, during the folding of the tabs 4 towards the inside of the box 1, to exert a thrust force on the product it contains, tending to move it towards the opening of the box 1.

In order to illustrate the use thereof, the general shape of a product which may be contained in the box 1, for example a pie, an individual cake or a quiche, is shown in dashed lines in FIGS. 4 and 5. As seen in Figures 4 and 5, the actuation of a tab 1 0 4 by the user can manipulate the product contained in the box 1, to advance it to the opening, here to the panel front side 23 which is lowered. The user can progressively advance a product contained in the box 1 as he consumes it.

FIG. 6 shows an exemplary blank for the embodiment of box 1 as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 previously described. The bottom panel 21, the four side panels 22, 23, 24 and 25, as well as the top panel 31 and its various skirts 32, 33 and 34 are found on the blank as shown. The various walls are typically provided with flaps, to allow their assembly during the shaping of the box 1 from this blank.

The tabs 4 are here shown as being evenly spaced on the bottom panel 21, between the back side 215 and the front side 213 of the bottom panel 21, their hinge portions 41 being oriented toward the front side 213 of the bottom panel. 21.

The tabs 4 may for example have a substantially square or rectangular shape, or a linear base formed by the hinge 41 and a pre-cut portion 42 curved, for example forming a portion of a circle, ellipse or parabola. The box 1 as proposed therefore facilitates the handling and consumption of all or part of a product directly in the box 1, while allowing not to form openings in the box that could alter its ability to contain and protect a product. The box as proposed is more easily achievable, in that it requires only an additional step of precut in one of its walls relative to a conventional box.

REVENDICATIONS1. Box (1) for a food product formed from a blank (4), comprising a receptacle (2) and a lid (3) movable relative to the receptacle (2) between an open position and a closed position, the receptacle ( 2) being formed by a plurality of walls (21, 22, 23, 24, 201, 202, 203 and 204) defining an internal volume of the box (1), and having an opening selectively closed by the lid (3), the box (1) being characterized in that at least one of said walls (21, 22, 23, 24, 201, 202, 203 and 204) of the receptacle (2) comprises tab portions (4) adapted to be folded into the internal volume of the box (1), so as to allow handling a food product disposed in the internal volume. 2. Box (1) according to claim 1, wherein said tab portions (4) are formed by precut in said at least one wall (21, 22, 23, 24, 201, 202, 203 and 204) of the receptacle ( 2). The box (1) according to claim 2, wherein each of the tab portions (4) have a hinge rim (41) with the wall (21, 22, 23, 24, 201, 202, 203 and 204) of the receptacle (2) in which they are arranged. 4.
