Abstract
The invention relates to a food-grade plastic bottle (1) having a plurality of compartments (2,6,9,11) interlocking with one another and heat-sealed together. The bottom of the compartments (2,6,9) are in the shape of a truncated cone, thereby having a central orifice; Each compartment has in its interior a small hollow sphere (12) whose function is to obstruct the orifice (4) by preventing degassing of the residual content of the bottle when the latter is in a vertical position and to release the orifice when the bottle is in a horizontal position, allowing the pouring of the contents. This device thus ensures the continuity of the sparkling quality of the drink.
Description
The object of the present invention is to prevent the degassing of the contents of a bottle of sparkling water after one or more openings of the latter, making it possible to preserve all the gustatory and sparkling qualities of the drink. This device, which is the subject of the invention, differs from the other demands placed on the same objective by its simplicity of manufacture and its low production cost, as well as the fact that it also allows the bottle to retain the originality of its originality. its shape provided by the mark unlike bottles with creases or other compression means. On the other hand, the system is automatic and requires no manipulation on the part of the person who uses it.
This device is characterized mainly by the fact that the bottle has several food plastic compartments recessed into each other and heat sealed to each other (or similar means) and that their bottoms are perforated allowing the contents to flow during the consumptions and to prevent the degassing of the residual contents of the bottle. A hollow, floating sphere, obstructing the orifice when the bottle is standing, completes the effectiveness of the system. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 is a sectional view of the bottle and its device as a whole, ie compartments 1, 2, 3, 4, separated by their respective bottoms provided with a small orifice and a small floating sphere inside them.
( fig. Figure 2 shows in section the first compartment on a larger scale and the extension of the side wall beyond its base. Figures 3 and 4 show in section the second and the third compartment with their reduced diameter parts. Figure 5 shows the compartment 4 is the bottom of the bottle. Figure 6 shows one of the truncated cone bottoms of compartments 1,2,3 viewed from above with their central orifice. According to a preferred embodiment, and not limited by its dimensions, a food plastic bottle (PET or the like) here of a thickness of 3 tenths of a mm. (fig.1 in 1) is composed of several elements forming compartments whose bottom is in the form of truncated cone, fitting into each other and heat sealed. In the present embodiment the first element (Fig. 1 to 2, and Fig. 2 forms the first compartment). The side wall matches the shape of the bottle and folds inwards to form the bottom. This is so for all subsequent compartments. Its bottom (Fig 1 in 3, Fig 2 in 3 and Fig 6 in 3) is truncated cone-shaped, tip up; It comprises a central orifice at its apex fig 1 in 4, fig.2 in 4 and fig. 6 in 4) 7 mm in diameter The wall falls to 5 mm lower than the bottom (Fig 2 in 5) so that it can fit on the upper and outer part of the second compartment 5 below overlapping with the upper part of reduced diameter of this 2 nd compartment (fig.3 in 7.) The second compartment (Fig.1 in 6 and Fig.3) has a reduction in its diameter at its upper part by 6 tenths of a mm. (Fig 1 in 7 and Fig 3 in 7) on 5 mm height. Its lower part has a second narrowing of its diameter by 6 tenths of a millimeter by 5 mm in height from its base (Fig. 1 at 8 and Fig. 3 at 8) allowing it to fit into the third compartment placed in position. underneath and overlap the upper and inner part of the latter. The third compartment (Fig. 1 at 9 and Fig. 4) has at its lower part a reduction in its diameter of 6 tenths of a millimeter by 5 mm from its base (Fig. 15 at 10 and Fig. 4). 10) allowing it to fit into the fourth compartment (Fig. 1 to 11 and Fig. 5) this portion of reduced diameter overlapping the upper and inner portion of the compartment 4. The fourth compartment (Fig. 1 in Fig. 1 and Fig. 5) forms the bottom of the bottle. All compartments have a small, hollow, free, and preferably transparent, sphere which floats in the contents of the bottle, for example: (FIG. 1 in FIG. 12) and whose diameter is slightly greater than the orifice of the bottoms of these compartments . This small sphere having the function of obstructing the orifice of the compartment located above it and thus avoid degassing of the residual content when the bottle is in a vertical position (out of service), or to clear the orifice of this compartment when the bottle is in horizontal position (when pouring the drink). The overlapping portions of the sidewalls are heat sealed together. According to particular embodiments: The bottom of the compartments can be flat and simply have small perforations so that all their openings are equal to about 40 mm '. Or 30 formed of a porous food grade material. The system will then be less efficient but still less expensive. The number of compartments can vary according to the importance of the contents of the bottle and the efficiency that one wants to obtain from the system but will be related to the cost of manufacture of the latter.
The compartments may overlap on larger or smaller dimensions depending on the required strength.
