L'invention concerne un dispositif d'absorption de faisceaux parasites transverses dans un amplificateur optique solide (1), comprenant un réservoir (2) permettant de mettre en contact un liquide (3) avec une surface (13) dudit amplificateur (1), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend des moyens de modification des propriétés physiques dudit liquide (3), rapprochant la valeur de l'indice dudit liquide (3) de la valeur de l'indice dudit amplificateur optique solide (1).
