Description
The present invention relates to the field of waves used for radio-identification, conventionally designated by RFID (English radio frequency identification device) and more particularly a device for blocking said RFID waves. PRIOR ART Nowadays, RFID is used in many fields to memorize and retrieve data remotely using markers provided with an antenna, called RFID tag or RFID transponder, which can be glued. or incorporated in objects or products. One of these areas is Near Field Communication (NFC). NFC is a short-range, high-frequency wireless communication technology that enables the exchange of information between devices. This technology is an extension of the standard combining the interface of a smart card and a reader within a single device. An NFC device is therefore able to communicate without contact including a smart card up to a distance of about 10 cm. The NFC now equips cards used, for example, in public transport, in commerce or for access to certain public services. Thus, at merchants equipped with an NFC payment terminal, a person who has a bank card with an RFID-type chip can quickly pay for his purchases by sliding said bank card on the NFC terminal. Thanks to the NFC technology, the terminal activates the SIMSA1-FR-1 TEXTE REMOVAL RG / AG 3031244 - 2 - electronic chip of the bank card by the emission of a train of electromagnetic waves, then receives and decodes the transmitted signal by said microchip to recover the information contained therein and necessary for the transaction such as, for example, the credit card number, its expiry date and the name of its holder. However, this NFC technology also leaves room for electronic fraud. Indeed, it is extremely easy for a fraudster to access the information of a card equipped with this technology. For that, it suffices for a fraudster to buy or transform an electronic device into an NFC reader, to miss a person carrying a bank card equipped with an electromagnetic RFID chip and to collect the information from said bank card. to subsequently make fraudulent purchases. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of the present invention is thus to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks and to propose an RFID-type electromagnetic wave blocking device in order to prevent activation of the electronic chip contained in a support. of the bank card type, for example, and the issuance by said chip of a signal containing the information it contains. According to the invention, it is therefore proposed a device for blocking electromagnetic waves for activating an electronic chip of the RFID type integral with a support, which is remarkable in that it comprises a flexible case comprising at least two suitable flaps. to fold against each other and made from a sandwich complex composed of two sheets of flexible plastic material between which is disposed a layer having SIMSA1-FR-1 TEXTE REMOVAL RG / AG 3031244 - 3 - electromagnetic screen, and receiving means arranged to receive and maintain in position on the inside of one of said two flaps at least said support, said flaps being sized to completely cover said support when folded one against each other. It will be understood that to the extent that the support is completely covered by the sandwich complex when it is disposed between said two flaps, the protection against electromagnetic waves is almost optimal. The flaps are formed in an outer sheet made from said sandwich complex. According to a preferred embodiment, the flaps are formed in an outer sheet of flexible plastic material and an inner sheet of flexible plastic material integral with the outer sheet and disposed on the side of the inner face of said outer sheet so as to form with the latter a second pocket-shaped overall housing, the inner sheet receiving by lamination on its side on the side of the outer sheet a bi-material complex comprising a layer of flexible plastic material and a layer having electromagnetic screen properties , the bonding taking place on the free face of the layer having electromagnetic shielding properties so as to reconstitute with the inner sheet the sandwich complex. Advantageously, the flexible plastic material used is polyvinyl chloride and the layer having electromagnetic shielding properties is aluminum. The case preferably comprises at least one against-sheet secured to the inner face of one of its flaps so as to form with the latter a first housing, in overall pocket shape, arranged to allow SIMSA1-FR-1 TEXT REMOVAL RG / AG 3031244 - 4 - at least part of said support. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES Other advantages and features will become more apparent from the following description of an alternative embodiment of an RFID signal blocking device according to the invention with reference to FIG. perspective of said blocking device.
FOR CARRYING OUT THE TECHNICAL INVENTION There is shown in FIG. 1 a blocking device 1, according to the invention, electromagnetic waves for activating an electronic chip of the RFID type, not shown, integral with a support. 2 such as, for example, a bank card. It is well understood that the blocking device 1 makes it possible to block not only the electromagnetic waves emitted by a terminal in order to activate said electronic chip, but also the electromagnetic waves emitted by the electronic chip when it is activated. The locking device 1 comprises a flexible case 3 provided with at least two flaps 4 adapted to fold against each other, and receiving means 5 arranged to receive and hold in position on the inner face of one of said two flaps 4 at least said support 2, said flaps 4 being sized to completely cover said support 2 when folded against each other.
The term "inner face" denotes the face which is located between the flaps 4 when the latter are folded against each other and on the outside face the face situated on the opposite side. Said two flaps 4 are advantageously formed SIMSA1-FR-1 TEXTE REMOVAL RG / AG 3031244 - 5 - in a flexible outer sheet 6. To receive said support 2, the receiving means 5 of the case 3 advantageously comprises at least one counter-sheet 7, advantageously transparent or translucent, integral with the inner face of one of said flaps 4 of the case 3 so as to form with the latter a first housing 8, in overall pocket shape, said support 2 then being inserted at least partly in said first housing 8.
According to a preferred embodiment, the case 3 also comprises an inner sheet 9 of flexible plastic material integral with the outer sheet 6 and disposed on the side of the inner face of the two flaps 4, each flap 4 then being formed in the sheet 6 and the inner sheet 9. The inner sheet 9 is secured to the outer sheet 6 so as to form therewith a second housing 10, in the overall shape of a pocket, serving as a storage area for, for example, receipts 20 banking operation. In this latter configuration, it is well understood that the inside face of one of said flaps 4 of the case 3 on which the first housing 8 is arranged is the face of the inner sheet 9 located opposite the outer sheet 25 6. To block the RFID waves and thus prevent the remote activation of the electronic chip support 2, the case 3 is at least partly made from a sandwich complex, not shown, consisting of two sheets of material flexible plastic between which is disposed a layer having electromagnetic screen properties. To ensure the blocking of RFID waves, the case 3 is such that at least the outer sheet 6 is made with said sandwich complex so as to cover the entire SIMSA1-FR-1 TEXTE REMOVAL RG / AG 3031244 - 6 - support 2 when the latter is disposed between the two flaps 4 folded against each other. However, insofar as the various plastic elements constituting the case 3 are assembled by high frequency welding, the sandwich complex can be reconstituted after assembly of the case 3 by laminating, for example, on the face. of the inner sheet 9 located on the side of the outer sheet 6, a bi-material complex comprising a layer of plastic material and a layer having electromagnetic screen properties, the bonding occurring on the free face of the layer having electromagnetic screen properties so that the latter layer is between the plastic layer of the bi-material complex and that of the inner sheet 9. The bi-material complex is preferably laminated on the face of the inner sheet 9 located on the side of the outer sheet 6 so that the electromagnetic shield is closer to the support 2 and is further protected by fire Outer layer 6. Preferably, the flexible plastic material used is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and the layer having electromagnetic screen properties is aluminum.
Possibility of industrial application It is well understood that the locking device 1 according to the invention is particularly suitable for receiving a support 2 of the bank card type. However, this blocking device 1 may also receive a completely different type of support 2 such as, for example, cards of a security system allowing the recognition of persons and / or access control or cards of the same. health system (health insurance card or mutual insurance card). SIMSA1-EN-1 TEXTE REMOVAL RG / AG 3031244 - 7 - Finally, it goes without saying that the example of the locking device 1 according to the invention which has just been described is only a particular illustration, in particular no limiting case of the invention.
