Abstract

L'invention a trait à un plancher (4) de véhicule automobile avec un tunnel central (6) s'étendant dans la direction longitudinale du véhicule, ledit plancher (4) comprenant un renfort (16) s'étendant transversalement en épousant le profil du tunnel central (6) à l'avant dudit tunnel ; le plancher comprend, en outre, une cloison transversale (18) dans le tunnel (6) et fixée au renfort (16). L'invention a également trait à un véhicule automobile comprenant un tel plancher (4), un compartiment moteur en avant par rapport au plancher (4), un groupe motopropulseur logé dans le compartiment moteur ; un arbre central d'entrainement partant du groupe motopropulseur et s'étendant longitudinalement vers l'arrière sous le plancher et passant sous la cloison transversale (18), la paroi transversale (16) formant une retenue du groupe motopropulseur en cas de choc frontal du véhicule.
