Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de détermination de la fréquence respiratoire d'un individu à partir de son rythme cardiaque, le procédé comportant de manière caractéristique, selon l'invention: -une première étape de mesure par pléthysmographie du signal cardiaque permettant d'enregistrer un signal représentatif de l'onde de pulsation selon une fréquence d'échantillonnage, -une seconde étape de filtrage passe bas du signal mesuré pour limiter les bruits parasites, -une troisième étape de détermination du rythme cardiaque, -une quatrième étape de traitement dans laquelle le signal correspondant à l'évolution du rythme cardiaque est échantillonné à intervalles réguliers, - une cinquième étape de filtrage passe bande du signal ré-échantillonné pour isoler les variations dans la zone cible de fréquence respiratoire, - une sixième étape de détection la période du signal résultant, ladite période correspondant à la fréquence respiratoire instantanée.The present invention relates to a device and a method for determining the respiratory rate of an individual from his heart rate, the method comprising characteristically, according to the invention: a first step of measurement by plethysmography of the cardiac signal allowing to record a signal representative of the pulse wave at a sampling frequency, -a second low-pass filtering step of the measured signal to limit parasitic noises, -a third step for determining the heart rate, -a fourth step treatment in which the signal corresponding to the evolution of the heart rate is sampled at regular intervals, - a fifth step of band-pass filtering of the resampled signal to isolate the variations in the target respiratory rate zone, - a sixth step of detection of the period of the resulting signal, said period corresponding to the instantaneous respiratory rate.
