Claims (10)
- REVENDICATIONS1. Vitrage comprenant une plaque transparente (1,11) en verre ou en matière plastique, cette plaque ayant deux faces principales opposées et une tranche (2,12); un substrat (3, 13) ayant un indice de réfraction inférieur à celui de la plaque (1,11), une première face de la plaque (1,11) étant en contact avec le substrat suivant une première surface, la deuxième face de cette plaque (1,11) étant revêtue, sur une deuxième surface de cette deuxième face, d'un revêtement photocatalytique (4,14), la deuxième surface étant opposée à la première surface, une source de rayonnement (5,15) apte à activer le revêtement photocatalytique (4,14); ce vitrage étant caractérisé en ce que la source de rayonnement (5,15) est agencée pour éclairer la plaque (1,11) par la tranche (2,12) de sorte qu'au moins une partie du rayonnement émis par la source de rayonnement (5,15) se propage, par réflexion totale interne dans la plaque (1,11), entre la première surface et la deuxième surface, activant de la sorte le revêtement photocatalytique (4,14).
- 2. Vitrage de la revendication 1, dans lequel le revêtement photocatalytique (4,14) est un revêtement de dioxyde de titane ; la source de rayonnement (5,15) est apte à émettre un rayonnement ultraviolet.
- 3. Vitrage de la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel le substrat (3, 13) est un film plastique en Butyral de Polyvinyle ; la plaque (1,11) est une première feuille de verre flotté.
- 4. Vitrage des revendications 2 et 3 comprenant, en outre, une deuxième feuille en verre (16), le substrat étant un intercalaire entre la première feuille de verre flotté et la deuxième feuille de verre.
- 5. Vitrage de l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes dans lequel la source de rayonnement (5,15) est à rayonnement directif.
- 6. Vitrage de l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes dans lequel la source de rayonnement (5,15) comprend une pluralité d'éléments sources de rayonnements.
- 7. Vitrage de l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans lequel ce vitrage est un vitrage automobile.
- 8. Vitrage de la revendication précédente, dans lequel la source de rayonnement (5,15) est agencée pour être reçue dans une garniture entourant le vitrage automobile.
- 9. Véhicule automobile comprenant un vitrage selon la revendication 7 ou 8.
- 10. Méthode d'activation d'un revêtement photocatalytique (4,14) revêtant une première surface d'une première face principale d'une plaque transparente (1,11) en verre ou en matière plastique, cette plaque (1,11) ayant une tranche (2,12) et une deuxième face principale opposée à la première face principale, cette méthode comprenant les étapes suivantes : - mise en contact, suivant une deuxième surface de la deuxième face, de la plaque (1,11) avec un substrat (3,13), la deuxième surface étant opposée à la première surface, le substrat (3,13) ayant un indice de réfraction inférieur à celui de la plaque (1,11) ; éclairage, au moyen d'une source de rayonnement (5,15) émettant un rayonnement apte à activer le revêtement photocatalytique (4,14), de la plaque par la tranche (2,12) de sorte qu'au moins une partie du rayonnement émis par cette source de rayonnement (5,15) se propage, par réflexion totale interne dans la plaque (1,11), entre la première surface et la deuxième surface, activant de la sorte le revêtement photocatalytique (4,14).
