Description
The present invention relates to a piece of motor vehicle equipment comprising: an upper wall comprising a matrix based on polymer, the upper wall delimiting an upper face intended to be directed towards a passenger compartment of the vehicle and an opposite face, - a lower wall comprising a polymer matrix, the bottom wall being fixed on the opposite face, the bottom wall and the upper wall defining between them at least one fluid flow conduit. In addition, the present invention relates to a vehicle comprising such a part and a method of manufacturing such a part. In today's vehicles, thermal regulation is allowed by air inlets. These air intakes are, for example, provided in the dashboard or at the front and rear passenger seats. The air can be conducted in these arrivals, for example, from conduits arranged in the false floor as described in EP 1 464 567 A1. However, such vents are very directional, which is uncomfortable for the driver or passengers who receive the airflow directly, near the face or along the legs, which causes real discomfort. An object of the invention is to provide, in a simple and inexpensive way, a room to make pleasant aeration or thermal regulation of a vehicle. For this purpose, the subject of the present invention is a piece of motor vehicle equipment of the aforementioned type in which the upper wall defines a plurality of through-holes arranged opposite the conduit, each through-hole opening into the upper face and into the driven through the top wall. The part according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics taken separately or in any technically possible combination: the upper wall advantageously comprises structural fibers embedded in the polymer-based matrix and the wall lower part advantageously comprises structural fibers embedded in the matrix based on polymer; the part comprises a filter layer applied on the upper face facing the holes, the filter layer sealing at least partially the holes; the filter layer is made based on a nonwoven; the part comprises a porous coating disposed above the upper face; the porous coating is a fabric or a carpet; the porous coating has a resistance to air passage of between 2000 N.m-3.s and 6000 N.m-3.s; the holes are distributed over the length and / or the width of the duct; the maximum transverse dimension of each hole is greater than 2 mm and is in particular between 2 mm and 5 mm; the density of holes facing the duct is greater than 50 holes per square meter; one of the upper wall and the lower wall has a hollow relief defining the duct; - The room is a false floor element. The invention also relates to a vehicle defining a passenger compartment and comprising a piece of equipment as defined above. The subject of the invention is also a method for manufacturing a motor vehicle part comprising the following steps: - production of an upper wall, comprising a matrix based on polymer, the upper wall delimiting an upper face intended to be oriented to a passenger compartment of the vehicle and an opposite face, - realization of a lower wall comprising a polymer-based matrix, the bottom wall being fixed on the opposite face, the bottom wall and the upper wall defining at least one circulation duct of fluid, characterized in that it comprises the formation of a plurality of through holes, arranged opposite the conduit, each through hole opening into the upper face and into the conduit through the opposite face. The process according to the invention may comprise the following characteristic: it comprises: the provision of a filter layer, and a porous coating; - Fixing a porous coating on the filter layer before assembly of the filter layer on the upper face of the upper wall. The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is a sectional view, in a vertical plane; , a false floor element and a vehicle body part on which it is mounted, - Figures 2 to 4 show different stages of manufacture of a piece of automotive equipment according to a method according to the invention. Figure 1 illustrates a piece of automotive equipment 1 according to the invention. The piece of equipment of a motor vehicle 1 is intended to be placed in a passenger compartment 2 of the vehicle. In the example described here, the piece of equipment of a motor vehicle 1 is a false floor element. Alternatively, the piece of equipment of a motor vehicle 1 is an element of the dashboard, a tunnel element or other. The tunnel is the central part of the passenger compartment, generally raised from the floor, and separating the driver from the passenger. Figure 1 is oriented in the orthonormal frame X, Y, Z corresponding to the normal orientation of a vehicle. In this system of axes: - the X axis corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, oriented in the direction of travel; the Z axis is the vertical axis oriented from bottom to top; and - the Y axis is the transverse axis of the vehicle. In the remainder of the description, the terms of position and orientation refer to this system of axes.
The piece of equipment of a motor vehicle 1 is disposed in the passenger compartment 2 of the vehicle. In Figure 1, the piece of equipment of a motor vehicle 1 is shown in assembled configuration on a vehicle body. The vehicle body is schematically represented by a body floor portion 4, and vertical flanges 6, consisting of parts of cases integrally with the floor 4 or spars integral with the body. The motor vehicle equipment part 1 comprises an upper wall 10 and a lower wall 12. The upper wall 10 and the lower wall 12 delimit between them at least one fluid circulation duct 14. The upper wall 10 defines a plurality of through holes 16, arranged opposite each conduit 14 of fluid circulation. The piece of equipment 1 further comprises a filter layer 18 and a coating 20. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, the upper wall 10 and the lower wall 12 delimit several ducts 14, here four ducts 14 of fluid circulation. The upper wall 10 constitutes the floor of the passenger compartment 2 of the vehicle.
The upper wall 10 delimits an upper face 22 intended to be oriented towards the passenger compartment 2 of the vehicle and an opposite face 24. The upper wall 10 advantageously has a thickness of 1 to 4 mm. The upper wall 10 and the lower wall 12 are made of a polymer matrix, for example, made of thermoplastic polyolefin material. The upper wall 10 and the lower wall 12 advantageously comprise structural fibers, in particular glass fibers, embedded in the polymer matrix. Each through hole 16 opens towards the passenger compartment 2, in the upper face 22 and towards the lower wall 12 in one of the ducts 14 through the upper wall 10.
The holes 16 are macroscopic. The maximum transverse dimension of each hole 16 is greater than 2 mm and is in particular between 2 mm and 5 mm. The depth of the holes 16 is equal to the thickness of the upper wall 10. The density of holes 16 opposite each duct 14 is advantageously greater than 50 holes per square meter.
The holes 16 are distributed along the length and the width of the duct 14. This configuration spreads the air in the passenger compartment 2 diffusely and homogeneously from the entire surface of the false floor element 1. The lower wall 12 is fixed on the opposite face 24 of the upper wall 10. The attachment is, for example, made by bonding between the walls 12 and 10 at different contact areas 26 between the lower walls 12 and upper 10. The lower wall 12 extends, as illustrated in Figure 1, when the false floor element 1 is mounted in the vehicle, above the floor 4 of the vehicle body. The lower wall 12 has an upper face disposed facing the opposite face 24 of the upper wall 10 and a lower face disposed opposite the floor 4 of the body. The bottom wall 12 advantageously has a thickness of 2 to 4 mm. The lower wall 12 has a plurality of hollow reliefs defining the conduits 14. The hollow reliefs form a plurality of stiffening ribs 28 in the form of corrugations, in cross section between the contact zones 26 with the upper wall 10. ribs 28 define, between the upper wall 10 and the lower wall 12, the ducts 14. The ducts 14 are hollow. The ducts 14 are defined on the one hand by non-contact regions of the upper and lower walls 12 and on the other side by the lateral walls 29 of the ribs 28.
The conduits 14 join a thermally regulated air source, for example, a source of air conditioning or a source of hot air at one end of the vehicle. Alternatively or in addition, the hydrometry of the air is regulated. The walls 10, 12, 29 delimiting the duct 14 are provided to be sealed to the fluid transported in the ducts. In particular, the ducts 14 are intended to carry hot air or cold air and the walls 10, 12, 29 are airtight. The filter layer 18 is assembled on the upper face 22 facing the holes 16. The filter layer 18 at least partially closes the holes 16. In this example, the filter layer is made based on a fibrous nonwoven . The filter layer 18 is, for example, a fibrous web. The filter layer 18 allows the passage of air but blocks the dust, for example, the dust from the walls 10, 12, 29 themselves, such as fibrils. The coating 20 is disposed above the filter layer 18. Alternatively, the coating 20 is disposed above the upper face 22. The coating 20 is, for example, a fabric or carpet. The coating 20 is visible from the passenger compartment 2 of the vehicle. The coating 20 is both porous and abrasion resistant. The porosity allows the passage of air from the ventilation duct 14 to the passenger compartment 2. In addition, the porosity of the coating 20 gives the assembly formed by the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 properties improved sound absorption. Advantageously, the coating 20 is easily cleanable. The coating 20 advantageously comprises warp yarns and weft yarns constituting a porous fabric. For example, the coating 20 consists of sheathed son. The core is advantageously a synthetic textile filament. The sheath comprises, for example, polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The sheath of the wires is able to prevent the accumulation of dust. The armor, the diameter and the tightening of the son of the coating 20 is adapted to have the desired porosity. The diameter of the yarns used for the fabric covering is advantageously between 0.4 and 1 mm and the number of yarns in cm in the warp direction as well as in the weft direction is between 10 and 20. The resistance to the passage of the air of the coating 20 (RPA) measured according to ISO 9053 is preferably between 2000 Nm-3.s and 6000 Nm-3.s. Such a fabric coating exhibits particularly improved abrasion resistance over tufted or needled carpets commonly used in vehicles.
Advantageously, the coating 20 is provided with a complementary layer, conferring on it other properties such as, for example, resistance to friction and abrasion. For example, the additional layer of the coating 20 is a polyurethane varnish, to limit the emanations of sheath materials such as plasticizers when the sheath is based on PVC. The complementary layer of polyurethane-based treatment is very effective. The high resistance to friction that the polyurethane-based supplementary layer confers on the coating 20 makes it possible to avoid the addition of heelpieces, for example, under the pedals of the vehicle. In the same way, the simplicity of maintenance and cleaning of this fabric covering makes it unnecessary to use "on-carpet", that is to say of removable carpet parts making it possible to limit the fouling of the fabric. the carpet and simplify the cleaning of the cabin. The absence of heelpieces and sur-mats, generally impermeable to air, is advantageous in the context of the invention because the ventilation holes 16 are not closed by these sealed elements. This type of fabric covering is dust-proof, that is to say it is able to prevent the dust present in the passenger compartment and being regularly deposited on the ground to be retained on the coating 20. Moreover, the fabric coating is able to prevent the proliferation of allergen-causing mites. Such a coating 20 is particularly advantageous because it prevents the recirculation of dust or allergen during operation of the ventilation according to the invention. A method of manufacturing a motor vehicle part 1 according to the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 2 to 4. The part 1 is advantageously made from two sheets containing hot-melt fibers 30, 32 and, for example, fibers structure intended respectively to form the matrix of the upper wall 10 and the lower wall 12 of the vehicle part 1 according to the invention. These plies are made in known ways by a textile process such as carding, followed by a topping and then a needling.
The first fiber ply 30 is perforated by means of a tool adapted to produce a plurality of perforations 34 through the first ply 30. This tooling is, for example, a press fitted with a punch tool which carries out the perforations 34 by removal of material. Preferably, the perforations 34 are made by conical shaped tips which perform the perforations 34 by spacing the fibrous material. These tips are mounted on rotating cylinders.
Alternatively, the tips are mounted on bars having reciprocating movement orthogonal to the plane of the web. In this case, the perforations 34 are made in a simple manner by unrolling the web continuously and at high speed. The perforations 34 are through. The perforations 34 are macroscopic to define the holes 16 of the upper wall 10 at the end of the manufacturing process. The distribution and size of the perforations 34 are therefore adapted to the process and the desired product. The perforations 34 are larger than the dimensions of the through holes 16 on the finished part because the pressure of the thermoforming causes the partial closure of these perforations.
For example, the perforations 34 have a diameter of 50 to 100 (3/0 greater than the final diameter of the holes 16 after thermoconformation, each of the top and bottom walls 12 and 12 being made, for example, by thermoconformation. are assembled together during the thermoconformation step and in the same tooling.
The method is implemented in a mold 40 comprising a first hollow half-mold 42, a second hollow half-mold 44 and a core 46 inserted removably between the first hollow half-mold 42 and the second half-mold 44. The second half-mold 44 has recesses 48 and bumps 50 corresponding to the conduits 14. The core 46 has a shape substantially complementary to the second half-mold 44. The first half-mold 42 is movable relative to the second half-mold 44 between an open position of the mold, shown in Figure 2, an intermediate position of closure in the presence of the core 46, shown in Figure 3, and a total closed position of the mold 40, shown in Figure 4, in absence of the core 46. The first manufacturing method of the part 10 initially comprises a step of introducing the fiber sheets 30 and 32 in the intermediate spaces 52, 54 defined respectively between the first half-mold 42 and the core 46 and between the second half-mold 44 and the core 46. The first ply 30 is placed in the space 52, such that the through perforations 34 are opposite the recesses 48 corresponding to the conduits 14. fiber webs 30, 32 are introduced into the mold 40 after preheating, at a temperature above the melting temperature of the fusible fibers. This pre-heating is carried out in a conventional manner, for example using hot trays, by infra-red heating or through hot air oven.
The first half-mold 42, the second half-mold 44 are regulated at a temperature of the order of 15 ° C. Then, the mold 40 is placed in its intermediate position, as shown in FIG. 3. During a first compression step, the layers of fibers are compressed and cut simultaneously by a cutting tool (not shown). The arrangement of the plies 30, 32 in contact with each half-mold 42, 44 and the core 46 causes densification of the plies and brings them to the desired thickness. The plies 30 and 32 adopt the complementary shape of the mold 40. In particular, the ply 30 becomes the upper wall 10 and the ply 32 becomes the lower wall 12 by adopting a shape comprising undulations 28 defining the lower and lateral walls of the ducts 14 Then, the mold 40 is moved to its open position. The core 46 is then extracted from the space between the half-molds 42, 44. The mold 40 is then moved to its fully closed position shown in FIG. 4. The time to perform the first compression step as well as the The kernel extraction step is of the order of a few seconds. This time is short enough for the polymer from the fusible fibers is still at a temperature above its softening temperature. Thus, during the closure of the mold, the webs being in contact at the contact areas 26 adhering at the contact zones 26. The compression then allows to permanently fix the two walls 10, 12 together. Alternatively, binders are added at the level of the contact areas 26 to facilitate bonding and improve the fixing of the bottom wall 12 on the top wall 10. During the cooling of fusible fibers, out of the mold 40, after the bonding, webs 30 and 32 harden and retain the shape adopted in the first compression step. The method according to the invention is therefore particularly simple to implement, and inexpensive since it requires a single mold 40, the part 1 being formed in this mold 40. The position and the dimensions of the perforations 34 made in the sheet 30 are such that after the thermal expansion, related to the different stages, and the shrinkage of the polymer of the matrix, the holes 16 have the desired characteristics for the upper wall 10 and are placed opposite the conduits 14.
Il est possible de remplacer seulement le filtre 18 en conservant le même revêtement 20.The holes 16 are formed at the same time as the thermo-conformation of the upper wall 10, without the need to drill this upper wall 10 after forming. The process which made it possible to produce the perforations in the sheet 10 is in itself, as we have seen, simple and productive. The methods used in the context of the invention are therefore greatly simplified and their cost is reduced. A coating 20 is then adhered to a non-woven filter layer 18, for example, by means of an adhesive, such as a polyethylene powder. The glue is distributed by point to prevent it from forming a waterproof layer. The assembly formed by the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 is itself thermoconformed in a conventional manner according to the relief of the floor to be covered and is cut to have the size of the final part. The assembly formed by the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 is then placed on the upper face 22 of the upper wall 10 to cover at least part of the holes 16. The assembly formed by the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 is secured to the upper wall 10, for example, by gluing. Advantageously, the glue points for fixing the assembly formed by the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 are located away from the holes 16. In one embodiment, the assembly formed by the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 or part thereof is attached to the upper wall 10 removably, for example, at the periphery of the false floor. This allows easy replacement of the coating 20 and the filter 18 or easier cleaning. In a variant, the coating 20 adheres weakly to the filter layer 18. It is possible to replace only the filter 18 while retaining the same coating 20.
The invention which has just been described, provides a part 1 to make pleasant aeration or thermal regulation of a vehicle. The air is spread in the passenger compartment 2 diffusely from the entire floor surface through the distribution of the holes 16, taken in combination with the porous assembly covering the holes 16. This does not cause an unpleasant sensation due to to a directional air jet, no more than the release of dust. In addition, the perception of the fabric-like coating 20 is pleasing to the user. The coating 20 is easily cleanable or replaceable. Furthermore, the resistance to the air passage of the filter layer 18 and the coating 20 are adaptable to increase the acoustic performance of the vehicle.
Lorsque les conduits 14 sont reliés à une source d'air chaud, l'intégralité de la pièce 1 est chauffée et contribue par rayonnement et convection au chauffage de l'habitacle 2.5When the ducts 14 are connected to a source of hot air, the entire room 1 is heated and contributes radiation and convection to the heating of the cabin 2.5
