L'invention concerne un stoppeur de chaîne (1) pour unité flottante comprenant un berceau (4) coopérant avec une unité flottante, un membre mâle (6) accueilli au sein dudit berceau (4), un conduit de guidage (7) coopérant avec ledit membre mâle (6), agencé pour guider les maillons d'une chaîne (2). Ledit berceau (4) et ledit membre mâle (6) comprennent des épaulements (4e, 6e), agencés mutuellement pour matérialiser une liaison rotule. L'invention concerne en outre un système d'ancrage associé comportant un stoppeur de chaîne (1) selon l'invention.
