Abstract
The present invention relates to a label manufacturing method for obtaining opaque adhesive labels from adhesive labels whose transparency is too important to allow a good double-sided reading and the label thus obtained. It concerns all brand labels, printed on both sides and affixed to non-opaque containers, such as glass bottles for example. The use of this innovative process makes it possible to preserve the existing labels while improving their reading, which is of great interest for manufacturers, especially luxury products. According to one embodiment of the invention, the method is based on the superposition of an opaque support (2) and a transparent support (6) after printing. The label obtained (7) is an opaque label, formed of two supports (2), (6) superimposed. Stuck on a transparent container, both sides can be read without difficulty.
Description
The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of labels making it possible to obtain opaque adhesive labels from adhesive labels, the adhesive labels of which are obtained from the adhesive label. transparency is too important to allow a good double-sided reading and the resulting label. It concerns all brand labels, printed on both sides and affixed to non-opaque containers, such as glass bottles for example. These labels often have a certain transparency, it is difficult, once glued, to read the front and back. The merit of the method described here is to deal with this problem by superimposing two printing media, while a single medium is traditionally used for the manufacture of labels. The use of this innovative process makes it possible to preserve the existing labels while improving their reading, which is of great interest for manufacturers, especially luxury products. The analysis of the state of the art does not disclose similar processes or products which can be retained as anteriority. The problem of the difficulty of double-sided reading of the labels stuck on various transparent containers has never been dealt with by the means used in the present invention and the product obtained by the method described here does not exist. The invention is represented in a nonlimiting manner in FIGS. 1 to 3. FIG. 1 represents the first support used or the mother coil. Figure 2 shows the second support used. Figure 3 shows the two superimposed supports. According to one embodiment of the invention, the method is broken down into four successive steps: printing of the back side (1) of an adhesive label on a first opaque support (2) comprising a registration system (3) printed on one side -verso and constituting the mother coil (4); 30 - printing the front (5) of said label on a support usually used (6), with another machine; - Carrying support (6) on the support (2); the two superposed supports (2), (6) are correctly positioned by means of the marking system (3); 35 - removal of the excess format of the label by recovery on a cutting machine.
The label obtained (7) is an opaque label, formed of two supports (2), (6) superimposed. Stuck on a transparent container, both sides can be read without difficulty, even when it is filled.
