Table (29) de positionnement pour un pavillon de véhicule automobile de manière que le pavillon soit disponible pour être manipulé via un système de mise en place du pavillon dans un poste d'assemblage dédié à l'assemblage du pavillon en haut d'une caisse du véhicule comportant deux côtés de caisse pourvus de brancards supérieurs reliés au moins par une traverse arrière. La table (29) a un châssis (129) globalement suivant un plan incliné et comprenant des organes (138) de glissement du pavillon de manière que le pavillon se cale par gravité en glissant jusqu'à venir en butée sur des organes de butée (134, 136) de la table. Ces organes de butée (134, 136) sont configurés pour recevoir en appui deux lisières adjacentes du pavillon. Poste d'assemblage dédié à l'assemblage d'un pavillon en haut d'une caisse de véhicule, comprenant une telle table.
