Abstract

The device relates to a disposable syringe for puncturing or injecting drug products. It is composed according to this invention, a cylindrical reservoir (2) or syringe body also called sterile chamber, intended to collect and maintain in a strictly sterile and sealed the puncture liquid and injection. This cylinder is traversed by a plunger (6) introduced by the proximal end of the syringe body inside said syringe body (2), the plunger (6) holds and actuates a piston (4) which during its extraction and delivery displacement in complete sealing with a flexible and retractable membrane (8) inserted at the proximal end of the body of the syringe (2) on the one hand, and at the distal end of the plunger (6). ) on the other hand, thus forming a total bacterial and mechanical barrier to the solid and liquid particles still very present in hospitals and loaded with highly pathogenic microorganisms, responsible for the nosocomial disease, which is still a major problem in the healthcare services. hospital and HAD.

Description

The present invention relates to a device for protecting against aseptic faults of a single-use syringe intended for puncture or injection of medicinal products. Single-use syringes currently used routinely for punctures and injections during repetitive procedures for preparation cause aseptic errors that inevitably lead to nosocomial contamination both maneuvered and airborne. The constituent elements of this syringe are essentially composed of a syringe body (1) or sterile chamber, a plunger (6) which passes through the sterile chamber (1) actuating a piston (4) intended to move a fluid liquid or gaseous in said sterile chamber (1) to the patient. The flexible and retractable protective membrane, fixed on the one hand to the proximal end of the sterile chamber (1) and the distal end of the plunger (6) moves while ensuring a complete seal, thus protecting the plunger ( 6) and the sterile chamber (1) from any contact with the environment often loaded with highly pathogenic germs. The flexible and retractable membrane (8) is inserted by thermo-welding thereby guaranteeing mechanical strength and sealing. In the application EP 1723979, the device described comprises a disposable syringe equipped with a membrane (8) inserted, on the one hand, at the proximal end of the sterile chamber (1) and on the other hand, on I proximal end of the plunger (6) as shown in Figure No. 1 but after multiple manipulations the membrane (8) was too vulnerable to various attacks (nails, jewelry) practitioners, resulting in: rupture and deterioration in all kind, to remedy this major problem. FIG. 2 represents the subject of the present application, in which the flexible and retractable membrane (8) is inserted on the proximal end of the sterile chamber (1) and the distal end of the plunger (6) thus releasing any the part of grip of the diver completely free for the maneuvers of the practitioner and the easy placement on the motors auto-pushers.
