Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé ultrasonore de mesure, d'inspection et de classification des propriétés mécaniques et/ou thermiques d'un milieu (60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 100), au moyen d'au moins une source large bande (20, 21, 22, 250, 260, 270, 280, 290, 540) d'ondes acoustiques couplées à au moins un guide (10, 17, 18, 150) solide à ondes élastiques d'impédance et d'effusivité connues, logé et amorti (43, 44, 55) dans une structure isolante (41, 42, 52) acoustiquement et thermiquement et couplé avec le milieu sur une surface déterminée (11, 14, 15, 16) avec une force (F) d'appui contrôlée (80,81), le dit couplage pouvant résulter d'un premier couplage (92) du guide solide à un guide liquide projeté en continu avec une pression hydrostatique constante ou variable, le dit liquide pouvant également être chauffé et projeté par intermittence, sous la forme d'un jet collimaté (93) percutant la surface du milieu. Les applications concernent le contrôle non destructif, le diagnostic médical, la classification de la qualité des aliments, la sidérurgie, ainsi que la vélocimétrie directionnelle.
