Abstract

Device that allows both according to climatic conditions, to be either: - a powerful solar still, thanks to the converging lenses that concentrate the solar radiation and also to the double reflective wall, which lowers the temperature of the inner wall thus facilitating the condensation. - a rain and dew water collector. The originality of the invention is to bring together these two functions: - the distillation of salt water - the collection of atmospheric water. This device also makes it possible to collect the atmospheric water and the distilled water, separately, according to the production of the device.

Description

One of the crucial problems for Man is to obtain water either for consumption or for crops. The saltwater reserves are enormous and a good number of men are installed near the coast. The present invention attempts to solve this problem: collect usable water. The present invention is a device in the form of a concave receptacle, with convergent or non convergent lenses, which overcomes a liquid collection system to which are connected pockets for receiving said liquids.

This receptacle also collects rainwater and dew. Traditionally, the two functions assumed by this device are separated; on one side we have solar stills and on the other side rain receivers.

The originality of the invention is to bring together these two functions: the distillation of salt water and the collection of rainwater. The solar distillation is done in two phases: - the evaporation phase which is here amplified by the presence of the converging lenses concentrating the light. - The condensation phase which is here improved by the presence of a double reflective wall device which decreases the temperature of the inner wall thus facilitating condensation. Traditionally, the collection of rainwater is done by moving the device 25 to recover the water, while with this system the water flows into removable and transportable bags. The device thus presented solves consequently the problem of the collection of consumable water, whether in all times thus increasing the efficiency of the device.

Description: The device is, in fact, a large concave receptacle (4) of circular shape or the like, having at its center convergent lenses (5) of conventional or Fresnel type and water discharge holes ( 6). This concave receptacle (4) can have various sizes and shapes (oval, square, rectangular ...) but whose concavity forces water to flow through the discharge holes (6). This receptacle (4) is made of a double-walled reflective material (4 and 4 ') which will reverberate the heat so that the inwardly facing portion (4') is cooler to facilitate condensation (B) of the steam (A). The concave receptacle (4) rests solidly on an inclined wall (10) which ends with a gutter structure (11) which can accommodate the condensation water (12) and can also ensure a certain buoyancy of the entire device on a salt water body (1 '). The outer edge of the gutter (11 ') is slightly turned to prevent the seawater (1') from entering the gutter. The sun's rays (2) condensed by the convergent lenses (5) evaporate the water (A). The vapor (A) will condense on the cooler walls (4 ') and flow on the inclined wall (10) to the receiving trough (11). This distilled water (12) flows into the pockets (15) through a pipe (13) having a non-return valve (14) which prevents the reflux of water. This pipe (13) is long enough to retrieve and change the pocket (15) above the water level (1). In the central part of the receptacle (4) the rain water is evacuated through openings (6) in pipes (7) to fill removable pockets (9) to recover this rainwater. A valve (8) anti-return system will allow the water to flow always from the receptacle (4) to the pocket (9). This pipe (7) is long enough to retrieve and change the pocket (9) above the water level (1). The device must be placed on a salt water level (1 ') (1') protected from waves and waves. It may be anchored to the bottom (1 ") by a tip (17) moored to rings (16) which will also allow it to be carried or pulled for movement. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. perspective device that rests on a plane (1) of salt water (1 '), anchored to the bottom (1 ") by a tip (17) moored to a ring (16) integral with the receptacle (4). This device is subjected to the sun's rays (2) or rain (3) The concave receptacle (4) has at its center convergent lenses (5) and orifices (6) for discharging water. Pockets (9 rainwater and 15 distilled water) can be recovered when they are full.

10 la cil 13 CiFIG. 2 represents the device in vertical cross-section, where we find the same elements as in FIG. 1, but more detailed on the shape of the reception trough (11) which will allow the system to float and receive water. condensed. This diagram also explains the following phases: concentration of the solar radiation (3 to 5 arrows), evaporation of the water (A) displacement of the water vapor up due to its density its condensation (B) on the wall ( 4 ') colder. 10 the eyelash 13 Ci
