The field of the invention is the field of current measurements. More specifically, the invention relates to a method for measuring a current flowing in an actuator, for example a motor vehicle actuator. It is known to measure the current flowing in an actuator to place a shunt in series with said actuator. A shunt has a first terminal, connected to an actuator, and a second terminal connected to the electrical ground by a ground line. The shunt is a resistance of known value, so that the current flowing in the shunt and the actuator can be estimated as a function of the voltage across the shunt. The voltage across the shunt is measured between the first terminal of the shunt and the electrical ground. However, and this is often the case in motor vehicles, the ground line can be long, so that its resistance is not negligible and disrupts the current measurements. This is all the more problematic in systems comprising several actuators mounted in parallel branches, each branch comprising a shunt for measuring the current, since the resistance of the ground line then disturbs the current measurements in each of said parallel branches. The present invention aims to remedy all or part of the limitations of the solutions of the prior art, in particular those described above, by proposing a solution for measuring a current flowing in actuators 20 mounted in parallel branches. , connected to the ground by the same line of mass and operated during distinct time intervals. For this purpose, and according to a first aspect, the invention relates to a method for measuring a current flowing in a first branch of a system comprising at least a second branch, each of said first branch and second branch 25 comprise a actuator, an activation transistor of said actuator and a shunt having a first terminal and a second terminal, the second terminals of the shunts of said first branch and second branch being connected to the ground by the same ground line, and the actuators of said first branch and second branch being activated during distinct time intervals. The method is remarkable in that it comprises: an estimation of the potential of the first terminal of the shunt of the first branch, the transistor of said first branch being conducting, called the "first potential", an estimate of the potential of the first terminal of the shunt of the second branch, the transistor of said second branch being blocked and the transistor of the first branch being conducting, called "second potential", - a calculation of difference between the first potential and the second potential, - a determination. of the current flowing in the first branch, as a function of the difference between the first potential and the second potential, and the value of the shunt of the first branch. Such provisions make it possible to eliminate disturbances related to the ground line. More particularly, the second potential being obtained with the transistor of the second branch blocked and with the transistor of the first branch passing, it is representative of the potential of the second terminal of the shunt of the first branch. Indeed, the current flowing in the second branch is zero, so that the potential of the first terminal of the shunt of the second branch is equal to the potential of the second terminal of said shunt. In addition, the potentials of the respective second terminals of the shunt of the first branch and the shunt of the second branch are the same since said second terminals are connected to the same ground line. Therefore, the difference between the first potential and the second potential corresponds to an estimate of the voltage between the first terminal and the second terminal of the first branch shunt, which does not depend on the ground line.
Advantageously, said method makes it possible to measure the current without adding material means. Indeed, according to the prior art, material means are generally provided for measuring the current in the first branch and other material means are provided for measuring the current in the second branch. The invention can then be implemented simply by using the hardware means of the second branch to estimate the second potential when measuring the current flowing in the first branch. The method is therefore applicable with a simple software update. In particular embodiments, the current measurement method may include one or more of the following features, taken singly or in any technically possible combination. In a particular mode of implementation, the measurements of the first potential and the second potential are non-simultaneous. In a particular mode of implementation, the first branch and the second branch are activated alternately over time. In a particular mode of implementation, the actuators of the first branch and second branch are ignition coils, valves or solenoid valves of a motor vehicle.
5 Ledit procédé comporte trois phases a, b, c. The invention will be better understood on reading the following description, given by way of non-limiting example, and with reference to the figures which represent: FIG. 1: an exemplary embodiment of an actuator system of a motor vehicle with several branches. FIG. 2: a schematic diagram of the method implemented by the invention. For the sake of clarity, the elements shown are not to scale unless otherwise stated. The present invention relates to a method for measuring a current of a system comprising several branches connected to the same mass for a motor vehicle. FIG. 1 represents an exemplary embodiment of an actuator system of a motor vehicle such that the system comprises two branches 10, 20. Each branch 10, 20 comprises an actuator 11, 21, an activation transistor 12, 22 said actuator, and a shunt 13, 23. The actuators 11, 21 are activated during distinct time intervals. In the rest of the description, it is placed in a nonlimiting manner in the case where said actuators 11, 21 are activated alternately, that is to say that when the actuator 11 is activated, the actuator 21 is deactivated, and when the actuator 11 is deactivated, the actuator 21 is activated. A shunt 13, 23 is a calibrated resistor known for the measurement of strong currents. A shunt has a first terminal and a second terminal. The second terminals of shunts 13, 23 are connected to ground by one and the same ground line. Said ground line being relatively long, its intrinsic resistance is not negligible for the current measurements of the branches 10, 20. The ground line is shown in FIG. 1 in the form of a resistor 14. In FIG. The system is composed of two branches 10, 20, but the method is applicable in a system comprising more than two branches. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the current flowing in the branch 10 and 1b2 denotes the current flowing in the branch 20. The voltage at the terminals of the shunt 13 of the branch 10 is denoted by Ust3, and by Us23 the voltage at the terminals of the shunt 23 of the branch 20. The actuators 11, 21 are connected to an electrical source, for example a battery of the motor vehicle, which supplies a voltage Vbat. Said actuators 11, 21 are activated by means of their respective transistors 12, 22. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, the transistor 12 of the branch 10 is conducting and the actuator 11 is activated, so that the current Ib, thus flowing in the branch 10, is non-zero. Conversely, since the actuators 11, 21 are activated alternately, the transistor 22 of the branch 20 is off, so the transistor 22 does not allow current to flow in the branch 20, so that the current 1b2 is zero. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the method for measuring the current of a system comprising several branches connected to the same ground line. This process comprises three phases a, b, c. The first phase a) has two steps 50 and 51. There is no preference in the order of realization of steps 50 and 51 of the first phase a) of the diagram of FIG. 2. Step 50 corresponds to a potential estimate of the first terminal of the shunt of the branch in which the transistor is passing, called "first potential". "Potential estimation" is understood to mean a measurement representative of the potential of the first terminal of the shunt of the branch in which the transistor is conducting, such as a measurement of the voltage between said first terminal and the ground, which corresponds to the potential of said first terminal to the potential of the mass. In the example of FIG. 1 where the actuator 11 is activated, the first potential is, for example, a measurement of the voltage, designated Ubi, between the first terminal of the shunt 13 and the ground. Whatever the number of branches in the system, step 51 corresponds to a potential estimate of the first terminal of the shunt of a second branch in which the transistor is blocked, called "second potential". In an example of a system 20 not shown with three branches, for applying said method, the transistor of one of the branches is conducting while the transistors of the other branches are blocked. Thus step 51 is carried out for any of the branches in which the transistor is blocked, the branch comprising the passing transistor corresponding to the branch whose current is to be measured. In the example of FIG. 1 where the actuator 11 is activated 25 and the actuator 21 is deactivated, the second potential is for example a measurement of the voltage, designated Ub2, between the first terminal of the shunt 23 and the mass. According to the law of meshes, the voltages Ubi, U2 can be expressed in the following form: Ubi = Us13 + Urmasse U2 = U523 + Urmasse In expressions (1) and (2), Us13, u523, respectively correspond to the voltage across the shunt 13, the voltage across the shunt 23 and the voltage across the resistor 14 of the ground line. In the example illustrated in FIG. 1, the current 1b2 being zero, the voltage u523 is also zero according to Ohm's law. So in this example: ub2 = Urmasse.
Phase b) of the method comprises only a step 52 in which a difference between the second potential and the first potential is determined, for example by calculating Ubi Ub2. According to the expressions (1), (2) and (3) above, we obtain then: Ub1 Ub2 = Us13 (3) We thus see that the difference between the second potential and the first potential does not depend on Urmasse, and does not depend on the resistance 14 of the ground line. Phase c) comprises only a step 53 corresponding to a determination of the current flowing in the branch in which the transistor is passing, as a function of the difference between the first potential and the second potential, calculated during the step 52. A current measurement shunt is a known fixed value resistor. Let R13 be the known value of the resistance of the shunt 13. To know the current Ib, flowing in the branch 10, Ohm's law is applied: 15 lb, = (Ub1-Ub2) / R13 = U513 / R13 The method of measurement of the current 1b2 flowing in the branch 20, when the transistor 22 of the branch 20 is conducting and the transistor 12 of the branch 10 is blocked, is identical to the method described above. The actuators used in Figure 1 are ignition coils.
However, other actuators can use the process in the automotive field such as a valve, a solenoid valve, etc. The order of steps 50 and 51 of phase a) is not important. It should also be noted that steps 50 and 51 can be performed simultaneously, or not simultaneously during a time interval during which the current flowing in the branch 10, 20 considered, can be considered substantially constant. The above description clearly illustrates that by its different characteristics and advantages, the present invention achieves the objectives it has set for itself. In particular, the invention makes it possible to measure in a simple manner the current in a branch of a system comprising several branches connected to the same line of mass, by avoiding the parasitic resistor 14 of the ground line.
