Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for protection against contamination by germs conveyed by the soles of shoes. This device is intended for installation on the ground, at the threshold of access to sensitive premises in order to fight against the risk of epidemic and / or pollution. These include protecting operating room entrances, hospital halls, access to aircraft at airports, packing and packing rooms in the pharmaceutical or food industry, mobile unit tents civil security, industrial farms cattle, pigs, aviaries, etc ..., even the entrances of hotels and homes of individuals under medical supervision. In the current state of the art, several protection devices against contamination by germs conveyed by the soles of shoes are known. Most of these devices have disadvantages. There is, for example, among the most widespread, the foot bath or disinfection basin where visitors are led to soak their shoes in a mini pool containing a disinfectant liquid. The disadvantages of this system are obvious. In the use of this method, the soles of shoes are soaked with the liquid and propagate it over several meters, making the floor slippery and conducive to accidents. The liquid evaporates too quickly, which limits the efficiency and the vapors released annoy the user. Frequently, the liquid contaminated by the impurities must be changed and the basins cleaned, resulting in a large workforce and a high operating cost. Contaminated fluid is a problem for the environment if it is dispersed in sewers.
The complex cleaning and replenishing of these foot baths hinders the movement of users in places of heavy traffic. To meet these drawbacks, the present invention aims to provide a more ecological protection device and more practical and economical to implement. For this purpose said device comprises a composite mat comprising a sealed membrane forming a receptacle with raised edges, capable of receiving a microbicidal liquid and / or disinfectant and / or deodorant. This membrane is covered by a sheet of non-woven fibers, abrasive and absorbent, which impregnates said liquid. This membrane and this sheet of fibers are shaped simultaneously, for example by thermoforming or thermocompression, and adhere to each other. The composite carpet thus formed, disposed at the threshold of the sensitive premises, is associated, by means of quick hooking and unhooking, to a rigid base equipped with means of immobilization relative to the ground. Advantageously, this rigid base is a peripheral frame C-shaped metal profile open on the inside of this frame. Also advantageous and not limiting, the immobilization means of this base relative to the ground are constituted by a plurality of anti-slip pads. These pads integral with the base are in contact with the ground.
The means for quick hooking and unhooking of the composite carpet on this basis result from the complementarity of their respective shapes. Advantageously, the attachment is obtained by penetrating the raised edges of the composite mat in the internal space of the C-section of the peripheral frame and the stall escape of the raised edges of the carpet. These two hooking and unhooking movements are made possible by the relative deformability of the carpet which is manually arched during this operation. According to the invention, the sealed membrane of this composite carpet is advantageously made from at least one polymer and the fiber sheet which is the second component of the carpet is advantageously made either of nonwoven of plant fibers or of nonwoven of viscose fibers, or non-woven polypropylene fibers called "spund bond". The mode of use of the device according to the invention is easy to understand. Installed on the threshold of a sensitive room, the protective device will channel the passage of visitors who are thus forced to walk on the composite mat held in the rigid frame immobilized on the ground with its non-slip pads. The soles of shoes of these visitors are thus, on the one hand, cleaned by brushing by the abrasive surface of the non-woven sheet and, on the other hand, disinfected by the dose of microbicidal liquid with which they are imbibed, which protects the local of the intrusion of various fouling and destroyed in the passage the germs brought from the outside. After a number of passes, the amount of microbicide liquid impregnating the fibers may become insufficient. To prolong the use of the device, a new dose of microbicidal liquid will be spread on the carpet. After a greater number of passes, the carpet, being too soiled and too little soaked and thus effectively out of use, will be removed manually from its frame as described above and replaced by the introduction of a new carpet in place of the old. Fed by a new dose of microbicidal liquid that will be absorbed by the fibers of the nonwoven sheet, the protective device is thus ready for a new use.
The soiled carpet, extracted from its frame, will be dumped for destruction by incineration with energy recovery. Note the ecological nature of this protective device that prevents excessive dissemination of microbiocidal liquid chemically dangerous and more or less polluted in the premises and in the sewer as is the case with the use of the foot bath. In addition, the operation of refurbishing the system, simple and fast, requires little manpower and thus does not hinder the movement of users on the doorstep of premises that can be places of high traffic. The features and advantages of the present invention will be better understood on reading the description which will follow, given by way of example of embodiment, and with reference to the appended drawings: FIG. 1 is a view from above of FIG. protection device, FIG. 2 is a transverse view, truncated at its center, of the protection device, in vertical section along the sectional line AA of FIG. 1. FIGS. 1 and 2 show an example. embodiment of a protective device (1) according to the invention which comprises a semi-rigid composite mat (3) placed on the floor (2). This mat (3) is composed, on the one hand, of a waterproof membrane (4) which is placed on the floor (2) and forms a receptacle (12) with raised edges (5) capable of receiving a microbicidal liquid and on the other hand, a sheet of non-woven fibers (6) which covers the upper face of said waterproof membrane and adheres thereto on at least a part of its surface. It can be seen in these two figures that the belt (3) is associated with a rigid base (7) constituted here by a peripheral frame (8) made of C-shaped open metal profile (9), extruded or obtained by sheet metal folding. . The opening (13) of this profile is disposed towards the inside of the peripheral frame (8) and the composite mat (3), the raised edges (5) of which penetrate through this opening (13) into the interior of the internal space (10) of this section, is enchased in this frame. It is thus immobilized relative to the peripheral frame (8) which itself is immobilized with respect to the ground by a plurality of anti-sliding pads (11), which prevents the sliding of the frame and carpet under the ground the steps of a visitor. These pads (11) can be made as shown in FIG. 2 in the form of flexible rings of elastomer or polymer with a low Shore hardness, inserted in circular orifices which are formed in the lower flange (14) of the section ( 9). Without going beyond the limits of the invention, these pads may have a different shape and, for example, a suction cup shape. The immobilization relative to the ground of the peripheral frame can also be obtained using other anti-sliding means not shown, such as overmolding on its lower face in contact with the ground with an elastomer coating or of polymer with low Shore hardness. In this case, for example, a silicone coating can be envisaged. It is the weight of the peripheral frame made, for example, of galvanized or stainless steel which, associated with these anti-sliding means, immobilizes the protective device relative to the ground. The sheet of fibers (7) which covers the carpet (3) is produced, for example, and in a nonlimiting manner in nonwoven of vegetable fibers or in nonwoven of viscose fibers or in nonwoven of polypropylene fibers called spund bond. It thus incorporates means that give it both the property of being abrasive to have a brushing effect on the soles of shoes, and the property of being absorbent to impregnate like a sponge of the microbicidal liquid. It restores this microbicidal liquid by wetting the soles of shoes at the passage of visitors. A thin calibrated layer of microbicidal liquid is thus deposited on the soles, thus avoiding the uncontrolled dispersion of a large amount of this liquid on the ground outside the carpet. The composite carpet (3), thus formed, rests on the ground and has sufficient rigidity to maintain its shape in trough receptacle with raised edges (5) which receives and absorbs the microbicidal liquid. Nevertheless, it remains deformable by manual pressure to take a sufficient camber allowing the introduction of its raised edges (5) in the inner space (10) of the peripheral frame and conversely their extraction. Thus, as described above, the carpet (3), whenever it is soiled and dried by many passages, can be removed from the frame (8) and replaced by a new carpet impregnated with microbicidal liquid. Such a replacement operation, very fast, makes the protective device (1) suitable for a new use.
