Abstract

Creuset froid polyphasé pour effectuer la fusion de certaines matières à haute température de fusion constitué de : - un inducteur polyphasé entourant la virole qui crée un champ électromagnétique radial, - un corps de creuset constitué par une virole composée de couronnes superposées refroidies, - un fond de creuset constitué par une sole composée de couronnes imbriquées refroidies, et comportant un orifice et un dispositif de coulée. Un champ électromagnétique tournant ainsi que des courants de circulation sont induits dans le contenu du creuset qui est alors agité par des efforts électromagnétiques, ce qui favorise la fusion de l'ensemble de la matière, permet d'écourter le temps de traitement et de gérer la fusion de quantité plus importante de matière.
