Abstract

Le secteur technique de la présente invention est celui du traitement et du fonctionnement des centres de stockage de déchets. Elle a pour objet une installation et un procédé pour le drainage de lixiviats (4.1) dans un casier à déchets (1) à couverture semi-perméable (3.2), en post-exploitation ou fermé définitivement, en excavation (2) dans le sol, cette excavation comportant un moyen d'imperméabilisation (3) à sa base, tel une géo membrane, le casier étant entouré d'une digue périphérique (13) de contention reposant sur une base (13.1). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le casier présente au moins un drain subhorizontal (14) situé sous la base (13.1) de la digue périphérique, débouchant dans un forage pratiqué dans le sol formant conduit d'évacuation gravitaire des lixiviats (4.1) vers l'extérieur du casier.
