Equipement électrique comportant des moyens de connexion (8) comprenant une voie de masse (V3), une voie d'alimentation (V1) et une voie de signal (V2), l'équipement comportant en outre un module d'alimentation, un dispositif de démodulation et un transformateur d'isolement (20) ayant un enroulement primaire connecté entre la voie de masse et une voie parmi la voie d'alimentation ou la voie de signal, et un enroulement secondaire connecté entre les entrées du module d'alimentation ou du dispositif de démodulation selon que l'enroulement primaire est relié à la voie d'alimentation ou de signal, la voie de masse étant en outre connectée à une entrée bas potentiel du module d'alimentation ou du dispositif de démodulation qui n'est pas connectée au transformateur.
