Abstract

L'invention porte principalement sur un procédé de gestion d'un couple moteur par coupure sélective de l'injection d'un ou plusieurs cylindres d'un moteur thermique à allumage commandé. Conformément à l'invention, le procédé comporte l'étape de déterminer un nombre maximal (Nmax) de cylindres dont l'injection est autorisée à être coupée, et dès qu'au moins un problème sécuritaire est détecté parmi: l'atteinte d'une limite d'avance à l'injection, un défaut d'injection, ou un dysfonctionnement d'un double volant moteur, le procédé comporte en outre l'étape de réaliser une coupure de l'injection d'un des cylindres, cette étape de coupure de l'injection d'un des cylindres étant susceptible d'être répétée dans la limite du nombre maximal (Nmax) de cylindres dont l'injection est autorisée à être coupée. L'invention a également pour objet un véhicule automobile équipé d'un calculateur moteur mettant en œuvre le procédé selon l'invention.
