Dispositif (10) d'indexage et de pré-maintien d'une première pièce d'habillage et d'une deuxième pièce d'habillage sur un véhicule automobile, comprenant : - une partie (11) mâle solidaire de la première pièce d'habillage, dépassant d'un bord (12) d'extrémité de celle-ci et comprenant: ○ un corps (15) longitudinal ayant deux faces (17) latérales opposées inclinées ; ○ une tête (16) transversale ayant au moins une face transversale; ○ au moins une patte (27) flexible ; une partie (13) femelle solidaire de la deuxième pièce d'habillage, formant une empreinte (14) dans celle-ci et définissant : ○ une section (35) longitudinale ayant deux bords (36) latéraux opposés aptes à coopérer avec les faces (17) latérales du corps (15); ○ une section (37) transversale ayant un bord (38) transversal apte à coopérer avec la face transversale de la tête (16); ○ un rebord apte à venir en prise d'encliquetage avec la patte (27) flexible.
