Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a colored and biodegradable tray and such a tray. There are currently colorful trays that are intended to contain food products. These trays are made of polystyrene and are not biodegradable. An object of the present invention is to provide a colored and biodegradable tray. For this purpose, there is provided a method of manufacturing a colored and biodegradable tray comprising: a step of supplying sugarcane bagasse, a step of kneading said bagasse of sugar cane to obtain a paste, a oxygen bleaching step of the dough thus obtained, a step of adding a dye to the dough thus bleached, a step of kneading homogenization of the thus colored dough, and a molding step of the tray from the dough and homogenized. Advantageously, the dye is the product offered by the company CLAMANT under the name DIRESUL BLACK P-FT LIQUID or the product offered by the company CLAMANT under the name DIRESUL BLACK RDT KAS LIQ.
The invention also proposes a colored and biodegradable tray obtained by a method according to one of the preceding variants. The characteristics of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will appear more clearly on reading the following description. A colored and biodegradable tray according to the invention takes the form of a bowl and is made by molding bagasse sugar cane which is colored before molding. The method of manufacturing a colored and biodegradable tray according to the invention comprises: a step of supplying sugarcane bagasse, a step of kneading said bagasse of sugar cane to obtain a paste, a step of oxygen bleaching of the dough thus obtained, a step of adding a dye to the dough thus bleached, a step of homogenization by kneading of the thus colored dough, and a molding step of the container. from the dough thus homogenized. The dye is intended to blend uniformly with the mixed sugarcane bagasse. The dye must be suitable for food contact and do not rub off.
Preferably, the dye stains the bagasse of sugar cane black which allows to better highlight the products such as meat and cheese, while making invisible traces of blood in the case of meat. Preferably, the dye is the product offered by the company CLAMANT under the name DIRESUL BLACK P-FT LIQUID or the product offered by the company CLAMANT under the name DIRESUL BLACK RDT KAS LIQ. Of course, the present invention is not limited to the examples and embodiments described and shown, but it is capable of numerous variants accessible to those skilled in the art.
