Abstract

The duct has a set of straight elements that are able to be sealed end to end to form the duct of desired length. An interior surface of the straight elements is provided in a smooth manner so as to support air flow. A set of folds is arranged in a section of the duct for supporting the air flow. A set of half arches is formed in the duct, where the duct is formed of incorruptible materials, and is sealed in the direction of its height, and is provided parallel to a wall, and duct delimiting air circulation passage.

Description

La gaine sera être en PVC ou autres matériaux imputrescibles.TECHNICAL FIELD The subject of the present invention is a ventilation duct intended to be laid down against the foundations of a wall in order to dry the latter and thus to prevent capillary rise. STATE OF THE PRIOR ART PVC sheaths which are split perpendicularly have the disadvantage of offering little exchange surface between the inside and the outside thereof. The aforementioned sheaths do not produce the desired effect for the drying of the walls of old buildings. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION - the purpose of the invention being in its form to offer a large exchange surface with the support, another object of the invention being its ease of installation within the reach of all, Another object of the invention being to be rotproof, the sheath will be manufactured according to various angles and various dimensions. - The smooth inner surface promotes the flow of air. Other features and advantages will appear better on reading the description below. The figure on page 1/1 presents in section the ventilation duct against the wall, sealed in the direction of its height and parallel to the wall, delimiting a passage adapted to the circulation of the air. As can be seen this form of sheath leaves two open sides thus promoting the exchange with the wall and the floor at the passage of the ventilation air. The chosen profile of the half-vault sheath and the folds gives it improved rigidity and better lateral and vertical resistance. The sheath will be made of PVC or other rot-proof materials.

The elements will be placed end to end to form a sheath of the desired length. By their open shape, the sheaths will be stacked and packaged easily in a small space for their transport and storage.
