Dessin n° 3 représente la vue de gauche du support arrière du moteur (M) (10 -11 et 12).The present invention relates to a universal special machine for precise sharpening of hedge trimmer blades, thermal or electric, all brands, all models and all lengths, according to the technical data of manufacturers of hedge trimmers. The movements of the axes (xx and Y- (B / B)) are mounted on guides 5 without clearance (18) and (23) and columns, hardened and ground (17) and (22), this ensures the accuracy of the sharpening, (quality N6). The blade (1) is immobilized flat (4) by a flange (5) clamping and quick release with one hand and without tools. Today, hedge trimmers are recommending light blade sharpening with a file. This method is tedious, painful, very delicate and very technical, to keep a correct geometry, angles, inclination and regularity of all the teeth, according to the characteristics provided by the manufacturers; moreover this method is dangerous for the hands and the forearm of the operator; it is not possible to wear gloves, because the precise work with the file, requires a lot of sensitivity in the hand. Some use a hand-held, unsupported hand-held angle grinder; The results are deplorable as cutting quality. Significant defects are found in tooth geometry, cutting angles and inclination, and the teeth are deformed, burnt and uneven. This mode of intervention is very dangerous for the hands and the eyes, because, very often, the operators have no protection. The design of my machine eliminates all the disadvantages and dangers of the methods heretofore used; keeping the technical data of the blade manufacturers. After several tests, on various types of blades, the results are conclusive; the initial characteristics are respected in totality, the machining time is short, this time can be very reduced by the planned pneumatic automation. The physical safety of the operator is ensured by a transparent screen, the grinding wheel (13) is wrapped to 2.5 maximum possibilities in a metal housing (14). Machine design: On a base (A) (15) square or other shape; two separate sets (10) and (38) are fixed. That of the rear (M) (10) is the tool support "a grinding wheel" (13). That of the front (P) (38) is the "blade to sharpen" workpiece support (1) (FIG. 1). The support (M) (10) is orientable on its support base (A) ( 15) to the right or to the left of an angle (ideal about 10 °) (FIG.1) (44) Its axis (B / B) is on its point 00 in the alignment of the carriage movement (Y ) (18) (B / B) of the front assembly (P) (38). This axis (B / B) passes through the middle of the thickness of the grinding wheel (13). The point of rotation (R1) on (b / b) is directly above the point of tangency on the periphery of the grinding wheel (13) and the top of the teeth of 3s the blade (3), immobilized flat (4) and abutment rearward (3) .ce (M) support (10) pivots about a pin on the Axis (R1) (FIG.1) -2- Parallel to (b / b) are two additional bores to use smaller grinding wheels. The wear of the grinding wheel has no impact on the operation of the principle. The support (M) (10) is immobilized by screws and nuts on the base (A) (15) in its "working" position oriented, on the left or to the right according to the side of the tooth to be sharpened; Its fixings are implanted in the base (A) (15) it moves thanks to circular lights (from -12 ° to + 12 °) (44) (FIG 1). This process is my invention, it allows the calibration of the grinding wheel during work, it is active on only one point, corresponding to the radius of the bottom of the tooth. The teeth are not "burned", their geometry remains constant in all directions and are consistent with the technical data of the manufacturers. With this principle it is possible to work on it as below the blade (I), according to its type of coupling. On the axis (B / B), at the same level as the support of the blade (4) is a second rotation of the wheel support R2, perpendicular to the rotation (Ri), a stepped axis, with a nut serves centering, this allows to obtain precisely the cutting angle of the tooth, according to the characteristics of the manufacturer (45 ° + or -5 ° left or right) a scale graduated in degrees (39) fixed to the fixed support rear of the assembly (M) (10) makes it possible to adjust these angles. On the front part (11), moving around (R2) are engraved the marks (0 ° - 45 ° - 90 ° - 135 °), immobilization is by screws and nuts and thus ensures the rigidity of the rear assembly (M) (10); this point of rotation will be called (R2) (FIG .1--2 --3--5) This assembly is made of welded metal with ribs and gussets. Depending on the type of attachment of the motor (12), this metal assembly can be in various design forms. The third rotation R3 on this rear assembly (M) (10) is the rotation of the motor oir the wheel (13) is mounted end between two flanges; it will be called (R3) The three rotations of the set (M) (10) are perpendicular to each other. The front assembly (L) (38) is decomposed, as follows, of: A carriage (23) with guides without play on two quenched and ground columns (22) 2 e, on the axis (x-x). It ensures the depth of pass "amount of material to remove on the tooth" its path is parallel to the rear support (3) of the blade (1); its displacement is done manually, by a screw (25) and knurled knob (26) (FIG.5), with each reciprocating movement of the carriage (18) on (B / B), the latter (18) slides without play on two quenched and ground columns (17). These two carriages (23) and (18) respectively have their adjustable limit stops (27) and (28) independent of one another 301'autre right and left for (xx) (27) and front and rear (28). ) for (18). (B / B) (FIG 4) (FIG 5) (FIG 6) (FIG 9) Through two bearings (16) fixed on the base (A) (15) slightly raised, for the passage of the steerable arm of the rear assembly (M) (10), the carriage table (18) moves along the axis (B / B); on this table a metal plate (19) is fixed with two Sentretoises (43) for the passage of the rudder (31) controlling the displacement "work". On a second plate (20), identical to the first (19), the two outer bearings (21) of the carriage (23) on (x-x) are fixed; in the center of these two plates (19 and 20) is positioned a pin allowing a fourth rotation, it will be called (R4); its function is to precisely adjust the angle of inclination of the tooth to the right or to the left (FIG.4-5-6). On the top plate (20), at both ends, two circular lights (45) are provided, below that (19) two nuts are welded, thus, immobilization in position is performed .A one end, a ruler angular (39), with a mark (40), facilitates the focusing. On the movable carriage (23) on (xx) a metal riser (24) serves to align the bearing face of the blade (4) with the wheel axis (rotation R2) on this riser (24). The plate (2) is fixed, it has several functions: to ensure the connection with the blade support (2), to support the "heel" of the clamping flange (5), and to align, by means of intermediate of an oblong hole and four screws, the working surface of the tooth, with the center of the clearance of the blade holder (46) (passage of the grinding wheel). The flange (5) has the particularity of being held in its lateral position by a tension spring (8) in order to hold in place its "heel"; under the flange (5) at the clamping screw is a compression spring (6), which allows clamping and loosening with one hand, with an indexable handle (37), under the clamp a wedge ( 35), in soft material, avoids marking the blade (I) during tightening (FIG.6). The carriage (18) on (B / B) is actuated by a rod (32) and a spreader (31) 2. 0 with a return (30) the coupling of the link (32) to the carriage (18) is realized by a pin (36) on the axis (B / B) closer to the center, near (R4) (FIG.6 and 8) the rudder (31), has, on one side, a clevis junction with the rod and the other a handle (33) for controlling the reciprocating movement in (Y) (B / 13), halfway there is the fixed return (30) integral with the base (A) ( 15); this returns (30) to clear the front of the machine and work by pulling. Near the handle, (33) a yoke (47) is provided for the future adaptation of a single acting pneumatic cylinder (34) (FIG 8). The future implementation of this jack (34) will have, as equipment: two limit stops, a four-way distributor, a pressure regulator and an exhaust silencer, this set will be controlled, at each cycle, by a manual push valve 30; therefore, the (work) alternating movement will become automatic (the mechanical stops will not be removed, to keep the safety) .In a first step, the carriage (18) is returned by two compression springs (29) around the columns (17); the adjustment of their voltages is achieved by the interposition of a third bearing (16) (FIG. 6) -4- To adjust the sharpening advance of each tooth, a lateral stop (7) on the left is provided; it is automatic, retractable and adjustable (FIG.7), it is fixed by a "jumper" (42) under the support of the support of the blade (48) (FIG.6) After adjustment, it is immobilized by a screw "butterfly". The design, construction and development of this stop is part of my invention and my research, it is equipped with a support (49) soft material to protect the cutting edge of the tooth (FIG.7). This machine is intended for the retail stores of the hedge trimmer dealers for their maintenance workshop, as well as their after-sales service. Some landscapers may be interested in sharpening their own materials.
