Abstract

The method involves estimating a function of power received in course of time (202) for each frequency used to code a clock signal on a received signal. An integrated power function for generating a curve of filtered power is calculated (203). Inflection points presented by a filtered function on a half-period of the clock signal are calculated (204). A presence of the clock signal is detected (205) if the filtered function presents zero or a single inflection point signal on a half-period of the clock signal, by processing the curve of filtered power. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for detecting presence of a coded clock signal by a frequency offset in an analog signal (2) a computer program comprising a set of instructions for detecting presence of a coded clock signal by a frequency offset in an analog signal (3) an information storage unit.
