Abstract
The method involves acquiring information related to behavior of a driver of a land transport vehicle (2) e.g. lorry, using a set of on-board sensors. A set of on-board video cameras (11) is arranged for giving visual information corresponding to driving of the vehicle. Information data regarding position of the vehicle on a lane is transmitted to a central station (6) and is stored locally or centrally to make an image analysis from the gathered data. The image analysis is performed to control certain qualities of control behaviors with respect to a factor such as pedestrians on the lane. The factor includes driver with or without seat belt, with or without cell phone in hand, with or without hands on steering wheel, presence or absence of obstacle visibility, authorized speed, inter-vehicle distance, carriageway markings, presence or absence of vertical indications, tricolor indications, attitudes on roadway system, priority, and parking aspects. An independent claim is also included for a system for dynamic controlling of behavior of a driver.
