Abstract

The device (16) has a deflection element (22) for a strap (10) of a seat belt (8) of a car, where the deflection element extends according to a principal direction intended to be transverse with the strap. A set of fixing units e.g. arm (24), is arranged for fixing of the deflection element. The fixing units include a connection pivot or guidance units for guidance of the deflection element according to a transverse trajectory that is perpendicular to the principal direction for applying the strap from a remote position. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a car structure (2) a method for assembly of a seat belt with a roller.
