Abstract

The method involves taking stoichiometric coefficient of a purged fuel (Cstoechio-can) into account in the determination of the quantity of fuel to be injected (M-inj), where the quantity of the fuel is fixed at a given stoichiometric value according to components of the fuel having different stoichiometric coefficients. The stoichiometric coefficient of the purged fuel is fixed from the stoichiometric coefficient of the component mainly present in a collector, where the components of the fuel are petrol and ethanol. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of a thermal engine and a fuel supply system.
