Abstract

The device (1) has a fastener (2) extending in a longitudinal direction (D') between two ends (21, 22). The fastener defines a surface (31) at one end, where the surface is intended to come against an interior surface of a post, and the interior surface terminates in an edge of an orifice of the post. The fastener defines another surface (32) and a stop (42) at the other end, where the length of the former surface is greater than that of the latter surface so that the surfaces are introduced into edges of the orifice with a sufficient amount of stroke. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a door leaf or sash-frame opening (2) a method for assembling the fitting device on a post for a door leaf or sash-frame opening.
