Abstract

The invention relates to a rubber composition that can be used for producing tyres, based on at least one or a plurality of functionalised diene elastomers, at a level higher than or equal to 40 parts by weight per hundred parts (pce) by weight of elastomer, carbon black as the majority by weight of reinforcing filler, zinc at a level within a range from 0 to 1 pce, and a sulphur-based cross-linking system and an accelerator such that the ratio between the level of sulphur in pce and the level of accelerator in pce is strictly greater than 1, the functionalised diene elastomer or elastomers being composed of a particular diene elastomer functionalised at the end of the chain or in the middle of the chain by a tin function, and of a particular non-functional tin elastomer to a level of less than 15% by weight relative to the total weight of the functionalised diene elastomer.
