Abstract

The vehicle (1) has a retractable seat (2) comprising a backrest (3) fixed on a partition (15), and a retractable base (5) positioned against the backrest. A shelf (6) is folded up under the base in a use position and in a retracted position of the base. The shelf is deployed horizontally when the base is retracted against the backrest. The partition comprises a rectangular opening (14) defined by a vehicle floor up to a lower end of the backrest so as to allow transporting of a long load (12). The partition is maintained by uprights on each side of walls of the vehicle.
