Abstract

The device has a cover (12) comprising a rigid fabric front panel (20), and a flexible fabric part (24) that is connected at a rear end of the panel and adapted to extend toward a back portion from a body of a vehicle. The cover comprises a rigid and fixed rear portion (22) connected to the flexible fabric part at an end remote from the panel. The rear portion is formed to be connected to the back portion of the body and continuously canvassed by coating a fabric (13) of the panel toward the rear portion of the cover by the flexible fabric part. An independent claim is also included for a convertible vehicle.
