Abstract

The invention relates to a cyclotron chamber provided with at least one airlock (1) for inserting and withdrawing a member (10) into/from the chamber, the airlock including at least: a first element (2) suitable for being mounted on an outer surface (4) of a wall (3) of the chamber and for placing a space (V) of the airlock (1) in communication with the inside of the housing; a second element (5, 6) suitable for moving a member in the housing in at least one direction (D5, D6); and a third element (11, 13) suitable for sealingly locking the member (10) on the airlock (1) while enabling at least one translatable movement of the member (10) toward or from the cyclotron chamber, wherein the direction in which the second element (5, 6) moves is not collinear with the direction of translation of the member (10).
