Abstract
Description
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Many games have been developed whose central element was constituted by a deck of cards: classic games, games of the seven families, and more recently illustrated card games aimed at developing observation and the imagination. In the difficult and risk-free context of car travel, it is clear that while almost all the available card games have solved the problem of clutter and handling by children in the car, they are not completely safe because of the stiffness of the cards, despite the rounded corners to reduce the risk of scratching. Indeed, the edge of the cards is always likely to come into contact with the face of children in case of sudden action (resulting from a sudden brake for example), causing a risk of cut. If this risk is minimal with classic card games, manufactured using the technique of two sides printed separately and glued together with black glue which gives them a thickness unsuitable for cutting, it is however amplified with plastic cards, available in the majority of the trade selling card games.
The following invention has been developed to remedy this state of affairs: it consists of a process of printing and finishing card games and their case, divided as follows - 1- Printing and finishing cards Print cards, in order to maximize their flexibility, are made on glossy, double-sided, modern coated paper with a grammage of 250 g / m2 (hereinafter referred to as the support). Coated paper is a paper whose surface is covered with one or more layers generally consisting of mineral products (pigments), mixed with binders and various additives. The coating operation consists of depositing on one or both sides of the sheet a coating based on fine pigments. The purpose of this operation is to allow better reproduction of prints by transforming a rough, macroporous surface into a smooth, microporous surface, and to improve the whiteness of the paper, its appearance, and its feel. The finishing is done by the double-sided filing of an acrylic varnish, designed to keep the card flexible while preserving the support folds, and a cut in "rounded corners". - He - Printing and finishing of the case The printing of the case, in order to give it the rigidity necessary for its role of card protection, while being of a minimal weight, is done on Chromocard © cardboard, coated cardboard (see explanation of the process above) on 1 side, interior wood. 1 shiny side (layered triple layer), 1 matte side (slightly supine), a weight of 300g / m2. The finish is done by filing an acrylic varnish on the front face. In order to respect an ecological ethic, the paper and cardboard used for the production of games meet the ECF standard (without chlorine) and contain neither phthalates nor phosphates (making them suitable for food contact).
