Abstract
Description
Device for facilitating the opening and / or closing of the containers
The present invention relates to a device for opening and closing more easily a container equipped with this device. The opening and closing of a container are traditionally performed with a cap on which it must be able to exert a certain force with the fingers. Some people, like the elderly, do not have the ability to exert such force with their fingers and have difficulty opening containers. The device of the invention allows to exert a force with the hand and not from the fingers which allows each individual to exert a greater force and thus facilitate the opening and closing of a container equipped of this device.
The device comprises a cap on an upper wall (opposite to the container on which it is intended to be attached) of which two projecting elements are provided, and a handle provided with two openings of complementary shape to these elements and arranged so that the sleeve can fit on the elements.
The following additional arrangements can be provided, alone or in combination: the projecting elements are aligned according to a diameter of the plug; the projecting elements are arranged on either side of the center of the upper wall; the projecting elements are square section; - the projecting elements came from matter; - The openings of the handle are aligned along a main axis of the handle; 30 - the openings of the handle are through. The device of the invention allows to reduce the effort exerted by the user who will now use his hand to open and close the container. By using the handle as a lever, the user will thus benefit from greater ease of opening and / or closing the container. The invention will be better understood in the light of the accompanying drawings which illustrate an embodiment: FIG. 1 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the device according to the invention. - Figure 2 is a sectional view of the top view, the device of the invention, the handle being assembled to the plug. There is shown in the drawings a device for facilitating the opening and / or closing of a container. This device comprises a cap 1 and a handle 2 forming a lever. The plug 1 has a cylindrical skirt 3 through which it is intended to be screwed onto the neck of a container (not shown), this skirt 3 ending in an upper wall 4. The upper wall 4 is provided with two elements 5 and 6, preferably aligned along a diameter of the upper wall 4, and projecting from the wall 4 towards the outside of the stopper 1, that is to say opposite the container. According to one embodiment, the height of the two elements 5 and 6 is greater than the thickness of the handle 2. As can be seen in the example illustrated in the drawings, the two elements 5, 6 may be of square section , and come in the form of cubes. According to a particular embodiment, the elements 5, 6 are integral, the plug 1 and the two elements 5 and 6 forming a one-piece piece molded in one piece by thermoplastic injection. The handle 2 comprises two openings 7, 8 (preferably through) aligned along a main axis of the handle 302, that is to say along the length of the handle 2; the shape, the dimensions and the arrangement of the openings 7, 8 are complementary and / or correspond to those of the elements 5, 6 which are intended to cooperate with the openings 7, 8. Thus, in the case where the elements 5, 6 are of cubic shape, the two openings 7 and 8 are of complementary section, square, as shown in Figure 1. The handle 2, with its two openings 7, 8, is preferably formed of a single piece molded by thermoplastic injection. By way of nonlimiting example, for a plug 1 with a diameter of 30 mm, the two projecting elements 5, 6, of cubic shape in the example proposed above, may have the following dimensions: width (c that is, side) 5 mm; height 4 mm. The handle 2 may have for dimensions: length 80 mm, width 10 mm, thickness 2 mm.
To open a container, the handle 2 is connected by fitting it on the plug 1 in the direction indicated by the arrow of FIG. 1, the elements 5, 6 being inserted into the respective openings 7, 8. Once this interlocking is achieved, it acts on the handle 2 in the manner of a lever by exerting a rotation with the hand in the direction (generally anticlockwise) opening of the cap 1. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the opening and closing of bottles, various containers of everyday life.
