Abstract

The system has two communication units for communicating to a vehicle side and recharging point side through respective power line communications (4, 6). Two detection units (8, 10) detect respective zero crossing of a power signal. A control unit (12) provides the power signal. A substitute signal generating unit (16) generates a substitute signal of same frequency as the power signal when the provision of power signal by the control unit is deactivated. The detection units detect zero crossing of the substitute signal. An independent claim is also included for a method for recharging batteries of electric or hybrid vehicle through a recharging point supplied with a distribution electricity network.
