Abstract

The connector (1) has a jaw (2) and a set of clamping mechanisms e.g. rivet plug (4), so as to bring the jaw closer to an electric cable (3) and a conductive element e.g. metal wall (5). The jaw includes a body (20) that is made of rigid insulating material. A set of active parts (22, 28) of a contact unit (21) is penetrated in the cable and the conductive element, and the connector is allowed to pass from an installation position of the cable to a service position by displacement of the jaw toward the cable and the conductive element with the clamping mechanisms.
