Abstract

The method involves fixing thermoelectric elements (4) with hot fluid circulating tubes (1) by circulating hot stream inside the tubes to allow brazing of the elements on the tubes. The tubes are coated with a thermally conducting and electrically insulating material (22) i.e. alumina. Electric conductive tracks are coated on the alumina. The tubes are locally covered with a brazing material (30) at zones intended to accommodate the elements, before brazing the elements, where brazing temperature of the brazing material is higher than that of the hot stream flowing in the tubes. The tubes circulate exhaust gas from a heat engine of a car. An INDEPENDEDNT CLAIM also included for a thermoelectric device.
