Abstract

The method involves determining three-dimensional position of an acquisition unit (3) i.e. webcam, with respect to an authentication device by a positioning unit (7). An image is acquired when the acquisition unit is placed at proximity of an original view point. The image is acquired from a view point different from the original point or under illumination different from illumination used for acquisition to establish original description of the device. The position determination and the image acquisition are carried out to establish subsequent description of the device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an authentication device (2) a method for fabricating an authentication device.
