Abstract
The invention relates to a magnetic position sensor which includes a main magnet (4) having a first direction of magnetisation (6) and edges located on planes that are orthogonal to said first direction, including at least one secondary magnet (8, 10) having a second direction of magnetisation (12, 14), the secondary magnet or magnets (8, 10) being arranged relative to the main magnet (4) such that the second direction of magnetisation (12, 14) is different from the first direction of magnetisation (6) in order to modify the induction generated by the main magnet (4) on at least one of the edges of said main magnet (4) such as to increase the scope of measurement of the sensor interacting with the probe.
