Abstract

The handle has a slightly padded envelope closed by covering an end of a leash (9) and a holding ring on a surfboard to prevent passage of fingers into the holding ring of the leash, where the envelope is made of flexible polymer. An adjustable connecting system i.e. cord, is provided between the envelope and the holding ring. The connecting system comprises two ends that are respectively provided with fastening strip and part e.g. velvet hooks, to form a length-adjustable loop.

Il s'agit de prévenir les accidents à l'origine de graves blessures aux mains, fractures et arrachements de tissus, soldés par des handicaps ou des amputations des doigts. Ces informations sont régulièrement rappelées par les services médicaux, essentiellement par les spécialistes « de la main ». L'invention est particulièrement adaptée et précieuse pour les écoles de surf responsables de l'initiation. A ce jour, il n'existe pas de système de prévention de cette nature. Outre les blessures aux doigts et à la main, on observe aussi celles pro- voquées par le retour brutal de la planche sous l'action élastique du « leash » enroulé autour de la main. Les blessures au visage sont fréquentes. L'invention permet de prévenir ces types d'accidents. La solution technique proposée, consiste en une poignée ergonomique de sécurité, amovible, uti- lisable sur les différentes planches de surf, au gré du pratiquant. La fermeture et le réglage de cette enveloppe sont assurés par un système d'accrochage rapide, de type « crochet-velours ».
