Abstract
The method involves equipping a pyrotechnic cutting device i.e. pyrotechnic cutting cord (4) on a spherical propellant tank (2) of a space vehicle, where the pyrotechnic cutting device operates according to fragmentation of predetermined cutting lines (9, 10) of the tank and comprises a thermal protection coating layer. A detonator (12) sensitive to temperature is arranged on the pyrotechnic cutting device for autonomously detonating the pyrotechnic cutting device when the detonator reaches predetermined detonation temperature by frictional heating with an atmospheric dense layer.
