-1- La présente invention, à pour objet un dispositif de positionnement qui est destiné à soutenir l'avant bras d'un praticien opératoire, de façon à ce que celui-ci ait une référence spatiale de son geste, tout en garantissant le libre choix de l'orientation de celui-ci. Traditionnellement, le geste opératoire se fait en surplomb du patient, occasionnant une posture en porte à faux importante du bras par rapport au bord de la table d'opération. Cela entraîne de l'imprécision, de la crispation, ainsi que la fatigue musculaire pour le chirurgien, surtout, lors d'interventions longues. Le dispositif selon l'invention, permet de remédier à cette situation par le fait qu'il comporte , selon la première caractéristique, un berceau de repos en forme de U,adapté à la configuration de l'avant bras , destiné à soutenir l'avant-bras du praticien à un niveau proche de son coude. Ce berceau, en appui sous l'avant-bras est supporté par un mât flexible, de hauteur réglable et verrouillable, lui-même en appui sur la table d'opération. Ce mât,articulé en rotation par rapport au berceau, repose , en partie basse , sur une 15 embase , servant de fixation ainsi que de référence spatiale, tout en laissant libre son orientation tout azimut par flexion. Le berceau, reste libre en rotation par une fixation tournante, axée sur le mât. Le mât est flexible, en partie haute et basse, assurant le confort et libérant les mouvements du bras du praticien. 20 La partie haute et basse du mât, bien que flexible tout azimut, occasionne, de par sa forme à ailettes multiples ou spiralée, un effet butée, limitant l'incidence de l'orientation de celui-ci, afin de sécuriser le champ opératoire.
