Abstract

The device (D) has a processing unit (MT) determining electrical power for a local electrical equipment e.g. washing machine (E1), according to the electrical power available in a feeder system (RA), where the equipment is connected in parallel to the feeder system. The processing unit deduces electrical power required for the equipment in an electrical power consumption mode from the determined electrical power. A communication unit (MCN) receives a message from the equipment, where the message represents the electrical power available in the feeder system. The communication unit is selected from a group consisting of a power line communication unit, a telegraphic communication unit and a radio communication unit.
